Majhighariani Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), founded in 1999 by Sri Bala Krishna Panda, is affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology and approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in technology, including BTech and MTech courses.

MITS offers a BTech program in various disciplines. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have achieved at least 75% in their 10+2 examination. The institute also provides lateral entry options for diploma holders in engineering fields. Admission is based on scores from the OJEE or JEE Mains exams.
