- Faculties are very supportive and intelligent. They also prepare students for the GRE. They conduct regular mock tests. Overall, Its a complete package. Students can opt for research, industry, or abroad options.
- They conduct regular meetings with alumni of different fields, like those who are doing PhDs, corporate jobs, or business. which was quite inspiring and motivating.
Dislikes
- I would say the fees are quite high, according to middle-class students. That's the only point that can bother an applicant.
- The second thing that I did not like was the average package, which is a little less than a student expects.
- third point is they provide their own laptop, which is not a dislike but one who already own a laptop has to pay for another laptop.
Remarks :
I appeared for the KIITTEE exam. I secured AIR 127 in that and got admission there. I chose this university because it's one of the best private universities to study biotechnology in India. Placement is one of the major reasons I chose this university. They have many good biotechnology companies, for example, Nestle, Zifo, etc.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose to study M.Sc. Biotechnology because I wanted to do research. Most of the faculties have Ph. D.s, and most of them are Ph. D.s from abroad. They had a very strong research background. It inspired me a lot to do research. Exams are mainly conducted twice a semester: mid-semester and final semesters. Initially, I paid 70,000 as counseling fees, out of which 60,000 were laptop charges and the rest, 10,000, were non-refundable counseling fees. The semester fee is Rs. 96,000.
Internships Opportunities :
As I took admission during COVID, I did not get the chance during the first year of my course, but I got the chance to complete my dissertation at AIIMS, New Delhi. I also did an internship for a month at Heredity Biosciences (BBSR), which was basically in microbiology and genetics.
Placement Experience :
Placements start in the middle of the third semester and continue until the end of the course. They prepare you for placements, like conducting mock group discussions, meeting with alumni, etc. Companies like Nestle, Zifo, Enzene, etc, are the main companies that conduct placements almost every year. The highest package from my batch was 5,00,000, and the average was 3,00,000. 80% of the students in my batch sat for placements, and the rest opted for research. I decided to go for research, so I am preparing for it right now.
Campus Life :
They conduct so many festivals. They have cultural clubs, for example, in dance, music, drama, etc. They provide hostels for students. You can book a hostel at the time of admission, just after the counseling is over. I had online classes due to COVID-19, so at that time, they provided us with e-books.

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
