Eligibility Criteria For (FYUGP)

To be eligible for the admission, candidates must fulfil the following criteria:-

  • Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination conducted by a recognized Board/Institute, such as CBSE or Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education.
  • Candidates must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks for the General Category and 55% aggregate marks for the Reserved Category.
  • Admission is open to all candidates who meet the above eligibility criteria, regardless of their background or category.

How To Fill The Application Form?

The candidates are advised to follow the below steps for filling out their Online Application Form:-

  • Visit the Kashmir University website and click on the "Admissions" link to access the application form.
  • Register as a student by clicking on the "Register as Student" option and creating a login.
  • After registration, login and click on "Registration No." to access the online application form.
  • Enter the required details and upload your latest passport-size photograph.
  • If there are any variations, click on the "Previous" button to make necessary corrections before submitting.
  • Deposit the non-refundable application fee of Rs. 250/- (including the IT fee of Rs. 150/-) plus the Processing/Entrance Test Fee of Rs. 500/- to Rs. 750/- through online mode.

Admission Procedure For BS (FYUGP)

Admission will be done based on the following criteria listed below:-

  • Admission to the program will be based on an entrance test conducted by the University of Kashmir.
  • The written test will consist of 60 objective questions covering topics such as General Awareness, Language Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative and Data Interpretation Skills, and Innovations and Entrepreneurship.
  • Each question will carry one mark, with a negative marking of 25%. The test duration will be 90 minutes.

After submitting the online application form, candidates should retain a hard copy for future reference but do not need to submit it.
