Pondicherry University has announced a spot admission round for various courses on October 25, 2024.

The spot admissions will take place on October 28 and 29, 2024, for programs such as B.Tech in Energy Science and Technology, B.A. (Hons) in History, B.A. (Hons) in French (Translation & Interpretation), (Hons) in Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, and Mathematics.

Candidates belonging to General, EWS, OBC, PH, SC, and ST categories, with a minimum 50% aggregate in 12th standard, are eligible for admission.

The admissions will be based on the availability of seats and the candidates' performance in the (CUET) or other relevant entrance exams.

Candidates are supposed to bring:-

• 10th or equivalent certificate/mark statement along with age proof.
• H.Sc. or its equivalent certificate/mark statement.
• OBC with Non-Creamy Layer certificate/ EWS recently issued (after March 31, 2024) by competent Authority, in case of OBC/EWS candidates respectively.
• SC/ST/PwD from competent authority as applicable.
• Migration/Transfer certificate and Conduct certificate from the institution last studied.
• Recently taken two stamp size colour photographs this is important for Group Medical Insurance Policy.
