19th August 2023, Bengaluru: The convocation ceremony was hosted by SVKM’s NMIMS Bengaluru where 200 bright students graduated and were awarded degrees from the School of Commerce (SoC), School of Economics (SoE), and School of Science (SoS). The chief guest of the occasion was Mr Nitin Pai, CMO & Chief Strategy Officer at Tata Elxsi, Bengaluru. NMIMS Bengaluru campus was the site of the convocation ceremony attended by Dr. Ramesh Bhat, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Narayani Ramachandran, Deputy Director, and Mr. Ashish Apte, Controller of Examinations, along with other senior staff members and faculty members. During the convocation ceremony, students who had successfully accomplished diverse academic programs like BBA, B.Sc. (Finance), B.Com (Hons.), B.Sc. (Economics), and B.Sc. (Applied Statistics & Analytics) were being honoured, and resounding applause filled the air as a tribute to their unwavering diligence and perseverance. This event marked a pivotal juncture in the academic voyage of these newly graduated students. It encapsulated not only the culmination of their college journey but also symbolized their preparedness to step into the realm of professionals, embracing novel and exhilarating chapters in their life stories. The convocation ceremony garnered the presence of esteemed dignitaries, dedicated faculty members, proud parents, and well-wishers. Together, they bore witness to the graduates receiving their well-earned degrees, a tangible testament to their hard-earned achievements.

Tejasvini, a B. Com (Hons) student, received recognition by achieving the 1st rank in her program during the ceremony. Faculty and student accomplishments, both at the institute and outside, were also highlighted during the event, eliciting enthusiastic applause.

Mr. Nitin Pai expressed this at the ceremony, and he encouraged fresh graduates to think creatively and boldly about their future. I'd like to emphasize that genuine success isn't solely gauged by accomplishments; it's equally determined by the constructive influence you exert on the lives of others and society at large.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ramesh Bhat conveyed, "This event is a moment of jubilation, a tribute to brilliance. The assembly of students here today reflects the culmination of persistent effort and unwavering resolve over the years. The accomplishments of the graduates fill me with immense pride. As you venture beyond these revered grounds, I hold the belief that you will not only thrive in your selected domains but also leave an indelible imprint on your journey through life.
"The tenure of students at NMIMS Bengaluru has equipped them with the wisdom and capabilities to traverse the intricacies of the global landscape." She counseled the students to undertake all their endeavors with a strong sense of accountability. She assured the students that they would do their best on any occasion and that they would leave remarkable expressions in each and every work.
