FCC released a notice on October 27, 2024, regarding CU registration for all new UG semester 1 students. Newly admitted UG Semester-I students under CCF are directed to complete their online CU Registration for 3 & 4-year courses through the college admission portal by November 5, 2024.

The CU registration fee is INR 200. There is no need to submit a hard copy of the registration form to the college unless corrections are required.

For 4-year Honours/Honours with Research:-

Reservation Category Minimum marks in HS or equivalent exam Year of passing
Unreserved, OBC-A & OBC-B 50 % in the top 4 subjects or 55% in Honours/related subjects.HS pass with 30% in Bengali & English.All HS subjects with 100 marks on paper. 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024

Financial Assistance

The college offers various financial assistance schemes to support economically disadvantaged and academically meritorious students. The schemes include:-

  • Students’ Aid Fund for poor and meritorious students.
  • Free studentship for economically backward students.
  • Stipends and concessions for meritorious students from economically backward families and also for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students (as per Government rules).
  • National scholarships and national loan scholarships (as sanctioned by the Central Government).
  • Scholarships for the wards of school teachers (as sanctioned by the Government of West Bengal).
  • Scholarships for the wards of dock labourers and 'Bidi Shramiks' (from the Labour Welfare Board as sanctioned by the Department of Labour, Government of West Bengal).
