The admission to the Doctoral Programme in Management, IIM Rohtak is open to all Indian citizens, non-resident Indians, persons of Indian origin living abroad and other foreign citizens for batch 13 (2025-2029). Admission to the programme will be based on the academic qualifications, performance in the qualifying examination/tests, personal interviews and the work experience. The application fee is INR 20 (Rupees Twenty Only).

IIM Rohtak DPM, Admission Process

IIM Rohtak's Doctoral Programme in Management admits Indian citizens, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and foreign citizens, with selection based on academic qualifications, qualifying exams, personal interviews, and work experience.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should have at least one of the following qualifications:-

  • Postgraduate degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 55% marks and Qualifications of CA, ICWA or CS.
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 55% marks and Qualifications of LLB degree.
  • MBBS degree holders with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
  • 4-years/ 8 Semesters Bachelor’s degree, with at least 6.0 CGPA or equivalent marks.
  • Five years Integrated Master’s Degree programme in any discipline, with at least 55% marks.
  • Candidates must have valid CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/UGC-NET scores in the relevant discipline.
  • Candidates possessing PGDM/MBA of IIMs with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 out of 10 or equivalent will be eligible for the interview process directly. Further, if they are selected, they will be exempted from first-year PGP courses.
  • Non-resident Indians, persons of Indian origin and other foreign citizens should have a valid GMAT/GRE score not older than five years from the closing date of application.
  • Candidates with a Master's Degree or candidates with an M.Phil or candidates with a Master's Degree with a thesis in the relevant discipline may directly appear for the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) to be conducted by IIM Rohtak for shortlisting.
  • The shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. The candidates will be assessed for their intellectual capabilities, research aptitude and interest in the management discipline.
  • Students pursuing their final year of Master's Programme are eligible to apply.

Financial Assistance

The participants of the DPM will be given a stipend as mentioned below:-

  • INR 34,000 for the first two years.
  • INR 40,000 after passing the second year.
  • In addition, a merit scholarship (subject to satisfactory performance) of INR 10,000 per month in the second year and INR 15,000 per month in the third and fourth years is given to the deserving participants.
  • All the participants will receive a contingency grant of INR 2,50,000 distributed across four years of the programme.

Important:- IIM Rohtak waives tuition fees for the participants who receive the monthly stipend.
