- Cultural festival are one of the most aveted as everyone is encouraged to do something and everyone is given a chance and involved making it interactive new learning experience and makes it a whole new experience all along
Dislikes
- Old buildings and old equipments which are the worst you can do for a student as it's not what students looks forward to in any collage after paying that much fee
- Language barriers by the staff which is a problem for people from different parts of India they find it irritating as they can't understand classes after paying fee same as others and moving places
Remarks :
We weren't given any entrence test based on our kcet or comidk results admission were made, the reason I chose this college was I either had option to go to Bangalore or Mangalore or Mysore but as my family was already was well settled in Davanagere I decided to stay here. The admission process was seemless I guess as most of the things we were made to self fill so we had controle over what info to give ot not except the must needed once, cut-off was not that hight so anyone with avg score in kcet and comidk could join.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum as I am of the main branch CSE which has the most number of intake than any other branches for the first two sem we were divided into two cycles physics and chemistry as per vtu the teaching was pritty decent like we didn't explore anything more than the syllabus the main priority was given to the syllabus only and the labs, few lecturers did try to go deeper in few subjects like electronics and communication but while others like c programming as we were cse branch were made to concentrate more on it, other subjects like physics, chemistry and maths were same as 11th and 12th. Few faculties were poor in their English vocabulary and preferred local language (kannada) which was a problem for few of my friends who were from different parts of India, so they had to relay on us or notes
Internships Opportunities :
None yet as I am a junior internship portal opens up to people who have passed their 7th sem without any backlogs if any they are ment to clear it and then take up internship at 8th sem, internship and other cources are only available after 8th sem as per vtu which our college follows
Placement Experience :
The placement for this college is pritty decent not that great but within Davanagere it's the best, the maximum package form this college was from my branch CSE and it was from 2022-23 I guess it was around 23lpa so it's pretty decent, as it has few rules even tho they say 100% placement only people above 7.5 cgpa every sem are selected for placement, companies like Benz, Audi, Wipro etc have come for placement. Internship is completely on left on students ability to perform if he/she is only good at their academics which they try their best to make students perform upto will get intership recommendation from the hod others should try at their own ability.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee is divided into two for two sems of that year you can either pay the whole year fee at once or pay it in parts as your sem progresses, we have many scholarship opportunities which uni intemates about on regular basis both govt and private scholarship programs but most of them are for sc, st or obc once almost non are for general category as I have seen. Exam fees are made to be paid seperately when exams are near, lab equipments like coats and books etc are made to buy seperately and are compulsory for exams. For people who come from kcet the tution fee varies but others are same almost all are from a middle class family
Campus Life :
Campus is getting old they need to upgrade as mentioned previously I am of cse branch so I don't know about other labs but physics lab most of them had poor and old measuring system and were broken. Same goes with chemistry lab both the lab were in old building which for fun fact was made when my father used to study in the same college. The computer lab had old and janki systems but few labs did have upgraded better systems and room like for cs& design floor but the cse floor had old system which did have few system issues while lab like no needed softwares etc as information from my seniors most of the works are done with personal laptops so I don't think it matters that much. Classes for first sem we had a pritty good class although we didn't have a projector we managed to convince them to add one but second sem it was horrible as it was that old building. Social clubs are may like for dance and sports etc. close to no ragging. Overall not bad but could improve
Hostel Facilities :
I don't stay in hostel but as much as I know rooms are old and each floor has a shower and washroom which is old and janki but these are old hostel of boys there are few new girls hostel I don't know about them as much but the food for them both are same as heard it good at weekends other days sometimes it's good but sometimes same food from morning is given for lunch.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary
