This college was in 1960 established. SVRGG hospital is one of the oldest and best hospitals in Andhra Pradesh having a bed capacity of 1000. This college has PG seats in every department. Good faculty and good facilities make it a priority for state students as well as AIQ students.
The curriculum is according to NMC guidelines. There is no delay in it. Exams are on time and faculties are experienced. These things give the college one of the best choices for MBBS courses and every year there are 240 students.
Last year was a compulsory internship. The whole year you have patient interaction. You have a duty in all departments. You learn under the best faculty. The stipend is around 23000 per month for ug in Andhra Pradesh.
As it is a medical college there is nothing like placement. In the full MBBS course, the last 1 year is an internship in SVRGG hospital. In Andhra Pradesh, the stipend is around 23000 per month for interns. But may increase in a few years.
I am studying at Sree Venkateswara Medical College, Tirupati which comes under NTRUHS University. The college is government and the fees vary for each year. For the first year, 12250 was fees and 22000 was admission charge. For the second year fees were less around 8000 rupees. For the Andhra state students, fess is somewhat less and scholarships are available.
Being a doctor is a struggle in itself. The hospital is within the campus and has daily interaction with the patients. Being surrounded by Pg and professors it but difficult. Yet there is a lot to learn as learning never ends in MBBS life.
There are separate hostels for girls and boys. In the boy's hostel, the fee per year is around 20000. And the mess charge is 4000. In each room, there are 3 members and the room is enough for three. Water is proper. There is security for both girls and boys hostel and fix intime is there.
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
