The top college in Bangalore. No written test or separate test to get admission. The admission process is done through KCET and COMEDK. You can apply for it and enter your Nata scores. You need to take the NATA exam so that based on your scores they decide the ranks (KCET and COMEDK). I joined Nata coaching classes centres. I must say its syllabus is a pretty easy entrance exam and you can study on your own there are a lot of free study materials on the website and especially on YouTube.
This architecture course is tough and quite challenging and you can do it only if you have a passion since it requires most time of your life. You hardly find time for yourself and always have deadlines for submissions of assignments. The faculty are very good and understanding. The fees depend on through which you took admission. For KCET it again depends on categories such as general, SC, ST, OBC and others for the variation of fees. For COMEDK it's around 2 lakhs. 3 tests are conducted every semester and 2-3 internal and external reviews as well. Then at the end is the end sem exam conducted by VTU. The difficulty level is easy to medium. It all depends on how well you study.
Yearly I pay around 1 lakhs which includes NASA registration as well. I got admission through KCET which is why it's 1 lakhs. The fees also depend on through what you get admission ( KCET, COMEDK, management quota) Also we have 2 study tours compulsory and should be done by 3rd year. The fees for study tours vary depending on the place you choose. One of my friends got admission through COMEDK and the fee is around 2lakhs.
Very good. They do have interesting workshops and lectures conducted every 2 weeks which increases your knowledge and experience in the architecture field. They also conduct a fest annually. BMS Library is one of the largest libraries which access to so many books. There are also extracurricular activities. And bmsca_unofficial is one of the accounts run by students of BMSCA. There are different accounts for different circular activities too. Also, BMS has subscribed to NASA.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
