- personally I find nothing which pleases the students in our university. But our university is very helpful for economically weaker students because all the fee is paid by government itself.
- I am not much into sports but people who are much interested in sports are well supported
Dislikes
- the first and main thing I dislike in our university is infrastructure and accommodation
- students here are not treated like a "college student" rather they are treated like a high school students. The rules and regulations are not at all impressive.
Remarks :
Students of our batch gave an entrance test and we got seat this seat purely based on the merit in the cet. Generally students who scored top cgpa in 10th board exams from government school can get a seat in this university because the main policy of this university is to help economically weaker students. But we being the students who passed 10th due to covid gave an entrance exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
we have a total of 7 disciplines in our university. namely cse, ece, eee, civil, mechanical, mme, chemical. branches are alloted to students based on their puc merit. 360 seats are reserved for cse and ece each. and the rest branches are divided based on the number of remaining students. I am a student of cse. faculty and their teaching is not much appreciable. students will be having three mid term examinations and end semester exams for each semester. the est paper is common for all the four campuses in andhra pradesh.
Internships Opportunities :
I being a 2nd year student did not opt any internship. we have different kinds of internships based on our preferences and a few seniors help the students with their internships. Some of the students do some paid internships where initially the students pay some money to the company and they teach the students and if the company is satisfied with the students work and ability students get stipend .
Placement Experience :
Generally our university students receive not much placements and due to present recession the number decreased. in our university each batch contain an average of 900 students in which probably 15% of them are recruited in campus placements. most of the students search for off campus jobs. the average package of the placement student is around 4 lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
students pay a total of 76304. in which 50000 is for tuition fee and the rest for hostel and mess. I don't have any kind of reservation so i pay total fee and my father being an income tax file holder we pay our own money. most of the students here are eligible for state level scholarship of 90% of the total fee.
Campus Life :
talking about campus, comparing all the four rgukt campuses in ap, ongole campus stands the least. infrastructure is not much appreciable. there is no sufficient place for the students accommodation. the strength of each dormitory in the hostel is minimum 20. How can an engineering student survive in this kind of environment. To learn and explore a student need a proper environment. Coming to fest students will be having only two fests one in March and other probably around November or December. and the library is not much supplied no proper internet facility. Students have few clubs which are not in light. Sports and other activities takes place often.
Hostel Facilities :
we have the least rated hostel compared to all the other campuses. Minimum 20 students are accomodated for each room. and the washrooms are too worse. students are randomly alloted in the hostel rooms.We don't have a proper mess to be honest. students will be seating in open areas like under trees and play areas to have their food. we'll be served under a roof and sit somewhere random and eat. and the quality of food is average.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
