- The hostel facility is worst and expensive.
- The faculty is average there are more fresher lecturers than experienced once.
Remarks :
The good aspect is firstly it is an autonomous college and It is situated just 40 km from Mysore, as I intend to join Autonomous it is the best option and the Electronics branch is more reputed in the college. The bad aspect is the hostel facility is worst and the facility is not at all good either you should in room or PG. The admission process is smooth and there will be no test at the time of admission only there will be a document verification.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I just have an interest in Electronics that's why I just chose EC, the department is good in my college so I chose it. The faculty is average half of the teachers are freshers and the remaining are seniors and they teach well. For the teaching, they will use a smart board, PPT and labs. In a year there will be two sem exams and the exams will be easy to pass and difficult to score more marks.If you read all the important given by the teachers then you can score easily.
Internships Opportunities :
As I got placed in cognizant they offered an internship for 6 months and paid a stipend of 12000. During the period of internship they allowed some IT projects and thought things related to basic fundamentals.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria are simple no backlogs and min 6 cgpa. The recruiters are TCS, DXC, CAPGEMINI, COGNIZANT and TechMahindra Totally 465 offers were made in 2022. The highest package offered was 17 LPA and the average package is 3 LPA.Overall 50 percent got placed and I also got placed in cognizant for 4 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Firstly to get admission to college I choosed Comed k because my ranking is high in CET.I am from Chamarajanagar district,I wanted to join the autonomous college so in the COMED K exam I got 50 k ranking and I got P.E.S college.The fee structure is 120000 per year to comed k and remaining 1000 should be paid for ID card fee.Yearly a 10k fee hike will be there so consider it. I got scholarship under the VidyaSiri under Govt of karnataka.
Campus Life :
Every year there will be a main college day under the name JNANA CAUVERY it will be celebrated in the month of October or November. Campus life is good and friends circle will be good also. The library facility is fantastic and you will get all types of books and newspaper and sem related books. Every year there will be a cricket championship against each department and you have a separate dedicated cricket ground. Also you will have all type of athlete games. The main social group is IEEE,GLUG and there is separate incubation centre in the college for your innovative ideas.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not been in the hostel as my friend says it is not good and the fees are too high about 80000 per year. Rooms have non-attached bathrooms and also unhygienic food and no other facility. Parking is good and the staff are rude

The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
