General facts of my college
Likes
- Primarily, I like the timings of the college.(7.30am to 1pm)
- It's ambience and infrastructure is awesome.
Dislikes
- I think it would be more helpful if the faculty make us study on our own.
- It would be nice if there's no course repetition for the students who fail to secure attendance of 75% in each subject. Instead ,it can be of overall 75%.
Remarks :
As I am in the final year,interviews have just began. I chose this college especially for it's timings (7.30am to 1pm).it's flexible to the students who prepare for competitive exams.For ECE cut off rank is about 18K for general category students which is also a decent cut off rank compared to the others colleges in our locality.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I am interested in the field of VLSI ,I chose ECE.Most of the faculty is experienced in the field of teaching for a minimum about 7years and some of them even have doctorates and have done PhD. Each term exam has sufficient period to cover all the syllabus .it's neither too difficult nor too easy. A few subjects may seem difficult based on our interest towards that subject.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done 2 internships. One in Vlsi using verilog HDL(SkillDzire) .Other in DFT(BIST Technologies). These two are online internships .In the last semester,we have to do offline internship . I have done a mini project based on IOT ( Smart Helmet for mining)
Placement Experience :
At present ,as I'm in final year we are attending for the drives . Accenture is the first one to visit and it's on it's process to recruit . I'm interested in gate exam and study mtech .so,I'm preparing for it .besides ,I'm also attending the jobs related to hardware so that I could get work experience before the study itself.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fee:61000/-for eamcet cutoff rank students.Some students get scholarship.Semester end exam fee:1400/-.Extra fee (building fund) and lab fee:100/- only a couple of times.Most of SC,ST,BC,EWS students get scholarship,they need not pay.
Campus Life :
Each department has it's own farewell and magazine launch and it's conducted in march or april .whole college has the fest called Bectagon which is conducted for 2 days. Various cultural and literary competitions are held .Other colleges can also participate in it. Our library has different journals and books .we can find most of the required books there. Sports events are conducted and some of the them even prepare for state competitions and national competitions. We have clubs like CCA,Aawaz and SAC which are related to cultural,literary and social welfare respectively.

Placement Experience :
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.
Placement Experience :
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Placement Experience :
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.

Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
