- College infrastructure is great.Campus is very large and well maintained
- Lot of learning resources and facilities are available to the students such as books,free wifi.
Dislikes
- The non-teaching staff are sometimes rude and do not respond properly
- Placement opportunities are limited.Same set of companies visit the college every year and no much new companies visit the college.
Remarks :
I choose this college because it is the top college in North Karnataka. Various alumni such as Sudha Murthy,Ex- Chief minister of Karnataka have studied in this college. To get into this college a common entrance test will be conducted. Based on the CET scores the admission will be taken. Apart from CET,there is another COMEDK exam which will help to get admission in college. These exam have mca questions on Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose computer Science Engineering because I had an interest in coding. The faculty are highly qualified with most of them have done PhD in their respective fields and also have published many reasearch papers. The teaching is fine but self study is required to gain complete knowledge There are 2 internal exams conducted and one end semester exam in each semester. The lab courses also had monthly lab tests or group project reviews
Internships Opportunities :
There are no internship facilities in the college. Students have to find internship on their own. The placed students get offered internship by their respective companies.The internship period is around 5-6 months.
Placement Experience :
There is a placement cell in the campus which is responsible for all the placement of all the departments. The eligibility criteria varies for different companies as most of them require CCPA to be greater than 7 usually, and 12th percentage to be higher than 60%. The highest package offered is 43LPA in 2023. The average package is around 7LPA. Almost 60-70% students get placed. Companies like Bosch,AWS, Juniper, Benz, Toshiba, Extreme Network,Lam reasearch,PWC, Deloitte USI, Vieston visit the campus every year
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For the first year the fees was 91000. The yearly fees for cs is 87000(As cs is non-aided). For the other departments if it is aided the fee structure is 60000 For EWS category the fees is around 20k There are also numerous central n state scholarships available for the students based on category (SC/ST) and also based on merit.
Campus Life :
Not many fests are conducted but once a year a festival will be arranged especially during the year end. There are 2 libraries available in the campus from which students can borrow the books. There is also newly constructed sports arena for students to play indoor sports and a playground is also available Inter department sports will be conducted every year There are also various clubs such as AeroKle,MakeinBvb,GFG coding club,GDSC club which gives exposure to students.
Hostel Facilities :
There are multiple hostels in the campus separate for girls and boys. The fees structure varies from 70-85k for hostels The food quality is pretty average in the hostel mess. But there are also various PG near the campus at an affordable price which students can opt for.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
