- Our college has a good infrastructure and it has a lushy green atmosphere.
- The campus life in our college is quite interesting and the projects we work are challenging.
Dislikes
- It's not that I don't like it but the cafeteria should be developed and the menu should be updated
- I expect more sports events should be conducted atleast thrice in a year where we have only one sports event per year.
Remarks :
Our college SWEC is the first women's college in the whole state to get a NAAC A++ rank. It has good infrastructure facilities as well as regular CRT programs. The college also has good placements and a good pass percentage for the students. It is autonomous and it allows students to for industrial trips every year
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose computer science and engineering specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning as AI is ruling the world now and I find it quite interesting to find about new things. The exams were conducted semester-wise. We also have weekly tests to improve our knowledge skills and the college also encourages different workshop programs for every semester.
Internships Opportunities :
Companies like Wipro Technologies, TATA motors, TCX, Flipkart, Microsoft, etc.. offer internship programs to the students of our college. I also worked on some web development projects using HTML. I developed an online shopping website for accessories and clothing using HTML.
Placement Experience :
Every year 90-95% of students are placed in our college. Many top MNCs come to our college to offer employment opportunities for the students like Wipro TCX Flipkart TATA etc. I plan to work for 1-2 years after completing my graduation and would like to move abroad for pursue master's. Our college also hires experienced faculty and encourages Campus recruitment training and it hires experienced trainers for that.
Campus Life :
The college welcomed the freshers with an inauguration ceremony and second-years invited the juniors by throwing an amazing freshers party at the beginning of the 1st semester. We have a Library which contains all types of books and journals. Sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged in our college. We have many technical and non-technical clubs in our college. And I myself is the co-ordinator of web development club.

Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
