- The thing I like about college is their infrastructure and their campus Life they are tremendous, faculties here are friendly and college offers atmost freedom for every individuals and we should use it properly to enjoy our college life and we should also focus on studies
- College infrastructure is as I already said it is beautiful to the core u will feel like you are in.a foreign environment
- Faculties are also friendly and help u in your hard times and support you but there are also some clashes between some faculties that affect student surroundings
Dislikes
- The thing I dislike about the college is they will not provide any financial assistance for projects that students done and even if the student participated they fail to give appreciation for the students.
- They are forcing all department students to get into it companies their motive is to get placements for all students but they are not considering students who have dream for getting into core companies that's just disappointing.
Remarks :
Actually I'm aiming for good colleges that will provide good placements during my counselling days and I have filled many choices and my 1st preference for Coimbatore so I filtered some good colleges from those regions and skcet was one among the good colleges that will provide good placements with good packages ,as mu cutoff was not enough to take Cs,it,courses I opted for mechanical st 1st I got st joshep from Chennai eee department and I didn't like that college due to strict rules so I opted upward and I got skcet mechanical,only after I came to this college I get to know that they are only giving numerous placements in it companies rather than core companies so if you are aiming for a core company this college will not be a good choice ,core companies will visit our college but only few companies but they are very huge companies like tvs,ashok Leyland and Renault but you will need a heavy percentage ,project works and high core knowledge to secure a placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosed this course as o have not enough cutoff for taking other courses in this college and o preferred good college over the course ,all faculties in this college are friendly and all of them completed their M.E and some them finished ph.D even though they are Knowledgeable some staffs will teach for their sake and not for students I'm not saying all staffs but some of them are like this,if you want to learn you should listen the class instead of blaming staffs.basically two internal exams will be held before ecah semester and it was for 50 marks previously it was for 100 marks and u should have to wrote it for 3 hrs but now they have reduced it for 50 marks and duration is reduced to 1 and half hours and difficulty level of internal exams will be medium ,semester exams will be little difficult and duration for the exams is 3 hra
Internships Opportunities :
When ur are studying here you should atleast completed 21 days internship training. I have completed a 15 day intern in isro through a person I know there ,College will provide some intern assistance in the sam time u should also search for internships.
Placement Experience :
Placement and job opportunities will be good if you come here but college will be focusing more on it companies rather than core companies plenty of IT options will be available here if u are a software student the highest package is 45 lpa and average package here is 6 lpa for all departments
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As of 3rd year my tuition fees is 55k,development fees 5k,exam fees for 2 semesters 9.6k, this can vary depending on subjects,and other miscellaneous fees like placement training lab fees include 90k so totally it will be around 1,59,600 rupees approx 1.60 lakh one should have to pay as yearly fees if they came through government quota or counselling.however these total fees can vary for first graduates and it will be something around 1.10 lakhs and if u are from a government school you will be awarded with a scholarship and u don't need to pay any fees that means zero fees.If u came through management quota your fees will be around 2.5 lakhs and u should also pay donation and it will vary for diff departments
Campus Life :
Campus Life at skcet is extraordinary u will feel like u are in a ooty botanical gardens due to the surroundings it's located you will see a clean surroundings with every where filled with green bushes and trees and we'll maintained ,the library here is one of the best and largest library in Asia with all books and journals available here with fully digitalized and air conditioned library with access to all books and a good environment every year Dhwani event is conducted as college cultuarals and festivals like Pongal and Christmas Onam will be celebrated .Ground in skcet is fabulous and greatest Ground with all availabilities sports like basket ball foot ball cricket will be conducted
Hostel Facilities :
I didn't know much knowledge about hostel but it is a top notch for students but I heard hostel mess foods have to improve as they have same menu and its pure vegetarian hostel but u can find good foods all over the colleges in food courts there are plenty of pg's available with good foods for one person iT will be around 5500

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
