Likes
- The infrastructure is good, campus is big (101 acres) with well equipped labs, faculty is also good and some are kinda annoying which is common in every college.
- Campus life is average and I don't say it's bad but it's not top tier. The campus is in outskirts and access to town/city is 6 kms away.
Dislikes
- The campus is big and there maybe problems in travelling from one place to another which takes a lot of time for example the hostel and college are far and students get late if they don't manage time properly. Personal vehicle is a necessary thing here.
- Faculty is good but some may target and ultimately we can loose marks which is common. Campus has no good shops or canteen so someone who needs something has to travel for like 6 kms.
Remarks :
The good aspect of the college is that the degree Bsc horticulture has a rapidly growing sector and is in trend right now which is a good thing and the bad thing is there are no campus placements. Admissions can be perceived by getting good merit in common entrance exams like KCET ICAR etc. The cut-offs are 15000 maximum and below 15000 ranks are admitted in college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
there only one course to get in our campus that's Bsc horticulture both under graduation and post graduation. All the teachers are highly qualified and are PhD holders. They all teach good. There are 3 exams per semester 1) mid-term exams [internals] 2) lab exams[final] 3) final exams The difficulty level is medium and it may vary.
Internships Opportunities :
There is an internship programme in 4th year and yes we get work in local chemical, fertilizers, food companies etc. the stipend is not that good but thumbs up for work experience. Tasks like field assistance to labours, quality control in food and other products, etc
Placement Experience :
Placements are not much seen on our campus. Students apply for jobs personally or via exams conducted. The average package may range from 3-4LPA. My plan after degree is to perceive master's [MBA]. There are no such campus recruitments.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly we have 2 semesters and each semester fees is approx ?24000 . There's no such specific scholarship from college itself but you can get one from government of Karnataka (SSP). And the fee structure remains same but the students who get their seats via NRI quota have their fees as $5000 dollars annually but it got decreased to $3000 dollars for 2024-25 batch and onwards . SC ST students have a fees of ?250 per semester and it's ?500 per year with free hostel and food. And the fee structure of ICAR students who are from other states is slightly higher the normal quota which is like 36k-40k per year.
Campus Life :
There are no such specific fests on our campus but there's a fest kinda thing which is conducted every year around December. The library is damn big it's well equipped and has all the resources, books, e-books, internet access etc. Classrooms are also well equipped with AC's and a good smart board which are recently equipped. Sports are given preference and one get attend the University competition and there are intercollege games conducted every year. There are no such social grops, clubs etc on our campus .
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is good as it's under students supervision. The menu depends on what the mess leader decides and the cost or mess bill depends on what is prepared in the kitchen. If there's only special items prepared the monthly bill may go up. The average bill per month is ?3000. Hostel registration process is easy and it's done with regular college admission itself. Yes it's affordable compared to other campus

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary
