Remarks :
Admission is done in online mode through TNEA portal by the tamilnadu government . Your 12th board marks is alone enough to get admission in this college . I think the minimum cutoff is around 180 , I'm not sure .Affordability and diversity are two main aspects considered excellent for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Couse curriculum is pretty common in your first year . You will have physics , chemistry , english , tamil , and few labs . Over the second year , you will dwell more into your course's subjects . Faculties are really resourceful and helping .
Internships Opportunities :
Caterpillar is one of the major recruiting company of CEG . They recruit a large group of people from CEG , as there is a lot of scope for our course. I am just in my second yesr and am not quite sure about these things yet .
Placement Experience :
CEG is known for its placements. There is a 100% placement chance if you develop all the necessary skills . Highest package is around 10-12 LPA . You can either prepare for your higher studies or get placed in top companies
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly you will be paying around 30,400 rupees as tuition fee and 74,000 rupees as hostel fees(if you are residing in hostel). The yearly fees that you are paying will include caution deposit , notebook fees for first year , admission fees , lab fees and everything. While admission you will be asked to pay around 800 for lab shoes and 1000 for two lab coats ( brown and white )
Campus Life :
There are a lot of clubs in our college. Our college's clubs are most renowned and mostly founded by the students itself. Examples like CEG TECH FORUM - where you can organize the projects or even do your own projects , SRUTHILAYA - music club , SAPTHAM - classical music club ,Twisters - dance club , SPARTANZ - variety club, ASTRO - space club , LITCLUB- english lit club , maathavam - tamil literature club and much more . You will aslo get to meet lots of people from other states even other countries .
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is amazing. Compared to other hostel foods in Tamil Nadu , I actually prefer my hostel's food . Menu will be changed every semester, and we will not get bored. But sometimes we will have to wait in que and wait for plates and food . So its better to bring your own plate .

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
