- the faculty are really nice towards the students and committed to students success. they help students who are interested in pursuing research projects.
- the quality of education is exceptional, with proffessors who are not only knowledgeable but also approachable and supportive

- the campus is equipped with modern facilities that support both academic and extracurricular activities. the computer labs are with high performance machines and latest softwares. which is essential for field like computer science engineering.
- the college offers great balance between academic grind. there are clubs and socities catering to different interests from coding and robotics clubs to dance and singing clubs.
Remarks :
one of the reasons i chose my college was its reputation and experienced faculties.the college itself is around 50 years and the lectures are very experienced.my brother who was an ex student of this college suggested me this college. it has been consistently ranked highly among academic institutions and also in the field of sports.so if you’re an athlete or sportsperson you’ll get the admission through sports quota. location of the college also played a role in my decision. the college is right next to Mangalore International Airport. the colleges campus infrastructure is as another aspect, offering labs, library, canteen etc,all these factors contributed to my decision to choose this college.the admission process was not easy. i had to go through entrance exam CET. preparing for this exam was intense, requiring months of focused study. one of the challenges i faced was the high level of competition.it sometimes can be a stressful environment.cost of living is high due to the location
Course Curriculum Overview :
as a student of computer science and engineering, i believe the course offers curriculum that is designed to equip students with both theoretical and practical skills. the course covers a wide range of subjects, from foundational topics like data structures, algorithms to areas such as artificial intelligence and machine learning. the course focuses on real world applications. when it comes to faculty, i have found them to be highly knowledgeable and committed to students success. many of them have industry experience, which they brnig to classrooms. the teaching style of some faculty members vary, while many are excellent ar simplyfing complex concepts, there are instances where lectures can be theoretical, especially in subjects like advanced math.
Internships Opportunities :
since we’re in 3rd year the internships have not yet started. but my senior friends have been offered internships. most of them were working in bangalore with good projects which has helped them to get recruited to companies.
Placement Experience :
we have around 500+ companies including new startups and bigger and older companies w visiting our college for placements. companies like novigo, infosys, tata, spiderweb, and other companies have recruited students from shree devi college. we have 92% of students getting placements, while some students opt for higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
for my first year, the fees was 1,15,000 for second year it was 1,24,000 and now for third year it’s 1,26,00 per year apart from that we have to pay university examination fees of ?1,700 this is for general category for ST or other classes fees can be reduced for as low as ?50,000 or less the Arivu Education Loan provided by government lends us ?50,000 per year and for scholarship we have SSP scholarship which is also a government based scholarship, which provides us an amount of ?20,000 per year. the Jindal scholarship also provides a amount of ?2000 per month for 12 months. these are some financial aids available for students
Campus Life :
the fest that is organised by our college is called sambram. it takes place during dec-jan. sambhram is national level fest with both cultural and technical events take place. since i’m not more into reading, i can’t tell exactly how the libraries are, but my friends find the library really well. they lend us book for free for a month or so. they have wide range of books including studies and other books. we have associations that are organised by college. i’m part of the social service association where we visited a beach in the month of may to clean the beach to celebrate the environmental day. we also visited an old age home where the students contributed ?200 for buy them snacks and fruits and other daily use items like soaps and shampoos.
Hostel Facilities :
i’m a local and i live about 12 kms away from college. but the hostel is really close to college. the food provided is also good. they provide morning breakfast, lunch, evening tea and biscuits or other snacks and supper at night. they also have an option of veg and non veg.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
