Likes
- First thing which I like about college is its approachability. Each and every staff is so nice to the students who eager to invest their time in study or any constructive activity. Teachers themselves have been the part of student life as well as aspirants in many fields. So they connect very well with the students. They even bother about the extra curricular activities of students.
- The infrastructure is good as compared to any other government college nearby. There is an open gym, chemistry, botany and physics lab, library, e-library, auditorium hall, etc. Campus life is also good as there is a Maa Saraswati statue and hundreds of trees nearby. One can study or rest over their. Students are free to go anywhere in the college.
Dislikes
- Sometimes I feel the lack of management and ignorance on certain issues. Such as there was no separate toilet for girls and women staff. Which was solved after being highlighted by the students. Secondly there so many programs every week and then that teachers get really busy in it.
- Lack of management sometimes also leads the outsiders to enter into the college and make a mess.
Remarks :
It is a government college with plenty of good teachers and less crowd. There is no separate test for college admissions. One can directly apply for the admission. Students can also take admission through CUET examination but that is not mandatory.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I’ve chosen Geography in BA because of my interest. And secondly teachers are highly qualified as they have cleared NET/JRF and being a part of government faculty. Teachers were very cooperative and friendly. You can have the access of their personal numbers so that you can contact them in need. Exams happened twice a year as the course was yearly based and not semester wise. Difficulty of paper was moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
I am currently preparing for civil services but many of my friends are already being selected through college internships in different social and educational field. Some are on lieutenants or on a higher position in army.
Placement Experience :
Placements depends on the type of the course you opt for. I have seen hundreds even thousands of previous students of college being a civil servant, engineer, mainly in government services because the kind of environment of college and society.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I was a Medhavi Certificate holder that is provided by Madhya Pradesh Government for being good marks holder in 12th class. So my fees were not taken. But for the course I opted the fees were ?3500 each year.
Campus Life :
Every second week there’s a fest or a cultural program. You can be a part of it directly. Debates happen regularly with a lot of prices. Due to college significance in the District, prominent personalties like District Collector, SP, etc also present there. There is an e-library where you can have your own seat and can study with using free Wifi. Books and Journals are available in the main library, one can issue them directly. 5 different types of daily newspapers are also available to read. Each and every sport is available in the campus. Regular tournaments happen on district, division and state level. If you are good at any sport it will be a good push factor. NCC and NSS both are available. I was also being a part of it and it really helps in improving overall personality of a student and build a leadership quality in them.
Hostel Facilities :
When I was a students in that college then there was no hostel. During the final years of my college hostel was being built behind the college premise. If the hostel is built by now then I am sure it will be pretty affordable.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.
An unexpected journey

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

There's a good amount of placement opportunities but the only minus point is the Training and placement department is same for the other branches of this college such as Lakshmi Naraine college of Technology and science bhopal

If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.

MBBS a rollercoaster ????

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
