I have choosen this college primarily because this is the only university which falls under state government category. And the after benefits of having a bachelor's degree from a goverment college has numerous benefits as in campus placements and other things. I didn't face any group discussions, interviews anything. but there's a common entrance test where all the intrested candidates of the state students participates and the test will be conducted by the state agricultural board.
Overall course curriculum is just worth making a degree. The course mainly aims at getting practical and lively knowledge on farming and this course on a whole focuses on not just the academics but the other co curricular activities too. Like the determination and dedication towards empowering the nation and taking the country forward. Faculties are all from the senior most expert departments. There are usual shifts between teaching and research wings of the total agricultural board. So there most probable chance for us to get taught by the experienced principal scientists of almost every department.
I didn't opt for any internship yet because there's a rule of completing 3years of the graduation course to get eligibility for any internship. But after completion of 3yrs, that is in final yr of the course ,we can opt for any internship in any of the seed technology companies or pesticides companies or agro chemicals companies.
There are no much on campus placements and the opportunities that we get off campus are tremendous. We can apply for any jobs starting from food corporation of India (FCI) to Agribusiness management... we're elegible for many jobs which are currently growing in the nation. And I'm planing to apply for food technology related jobs after completion of my course.
The fees are paid as semester wise. A semester consists of 4 to 5 months... And the tution fee is paid at the beginning of the semester and the mess bill is paid on monthly basis. The fee structures are sooo affordable when compared to other private colleges/universities in the same group i.e agriculture degree.
The true Essence of one's campus life lies in the adopting and outgoing nature of the individual. When you are open to the changes and to explore the new people and new cultures everything becomes memorable. There are clubs for almost every creative section. The events happens quite often. Infrastructure in the labs is not soo impressive as that's seen in other private universities. Since it's a government funded institute,it takes sooo much time and paper work to bring about the necessary implements.
Any hostel mess isn't comparable to the food that we get to eat in our home. But the food here is tasty enough to survive for the rest of 4years of stay in the college. Mess bill is paid on monthly basis and the bill varies from month to month depending the events or fests that's happening in the month. The ambience of hostel mess isn't so good. Since it's the government college, infrastructure and maintenance are quite poor. And it's very easy to apply for hostel rooms. A form will be given to u during the admission into the college. Filling and submitting the form is all we need to do.
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
