Good aspects are Good Teachers, Good Senior to junior mentorships and connections, good coding culture, great placements, and amazing tech clubs like Robotics, Aero, Coding Club, Institute Innovation Council, and Cisco ThingQbator. There are many cultural committees like Rajasthani dance, Gujarati Garba, Western Dance, Bhangda, Core Dramatics, etc. Bad aspects include the larger area of the college being covered with forests and very few places to visit in Prayagraj, not having many interactions with the opposite gender outside the class, not having any open-air theatre, etc. Admission is purely based on the JEE mains Percentile. As it's a tier- college, the cut-off to take admission here is very high. Anyone can start preparing for JEE mains after the 10th itself. It is based on the 11th and 12th syllabus. I prepared for it through online coaching at PhysicsWallah and took part in many test series. The test series and the video lectures were very helpful and JEE-oriented.
I chose ECE because this was the best I could get with my percentile and the rank in the CSAB first round itself. I have heard that the career in the ECE field is very promising and future-proof as the semiconductor industry is taking its initial steps in India. The faculties here are very proficient and talented in their subject matter but most of the time, students study from books or YouTube lectures as the lectures given by the professors are not enough or deep enough to solve exam questions. The teaching method of the professors is overall good here. The exams are held here on a semester basis: first midterms then practicals and then Endsems.
I haven't opted for an internship yet. But, the internship opportunities at MNNIT are amazing as compared to other colleges. Manu companies come for interns like Google, Texas Instruments, Amazon, Microsoft, etc.
Placements and job opportunities are very good here, In fact, best in north India. The placement rate for CSE, ECE, and EE goes almost 85 - 95% till the end of the placement session. Manu companies come here like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Atlassian, Wipro, Cisco, etc. The average package offered in my course is 19 lpa. the profiles here vary every year but one profile that is majorly recruited with is a software development executive or a software engineer.
For students having family income above Rs. 500000 per annum): Hostel fee: 12000 + institute charges: 10000 + user Charges(9000) + caution money ( institute-2000, Hostel -2000, Library-1000) + Tuition fees- 62500 = Total : 98500 per semester This means 197000 per year For students having family income between 1 lakhs and 5 lakhs per annum: hostel fees(12000) + institute and other fees(institute fees-10000 + User charges -9000 + Caution money - 5000(like above)) + tuition fees- 20833 = Total: 56833 per semester this means 113666 per year For SC/ST/PwD candidates and those having family income less than 1 lakh per annum: Hostel fees-12000 + institute fees -10000 + User charges- 9000+ Caution money - 5000(Like above) + Tuition fees(NIL) = Total: 36000 per semester and 72000 per year Remember that all these fee structures don't contain mess fees of 50000 per year and the Day scholars have to pay 12000 less each semester
Life is great at the campus of MNNIT. Your friends make the most of the campus life wonderful and rest is done by the college's regular fests. The first fest for the first year is SWAGAT(fresher's party). Then the Cultural fest of the year is CulRaV, Avishkar(technical fest), BOTRush( official event of the robotics club), Nukkad (official event of the dramatics committees), and many more. Books are available for all from the library itself and anyone can get them issued for one week. Some of the classrooms are equipped with ACs while some are not. But all the classrooms have fans, smart boards, basic green boards, etc. In MNNIT, there is a club for every sport, and recruitment for them starts from the first year itself like the athletics club, hockey club, badminton club, taekwondo club, etc. There is an annual event of the athletics club which is, the Annual Athletics Meet.
The hostel mess menu is good and decided by the hostel committee recruited from the students of that particular hostel. Food quality is average and like every other college's menu. The registration process is fast and is done right after physical registration for the semester in the college. The hostel is pretty affordable and a major part of the mess fees is returned to us after the semester as a refund.
They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
There are regular placement drives that are conducted on a monthly basis. We have regular updates for campus placement drives that are shared with us and we can participate in them to choose the best options for ourselves.
Galgotias University has a high placement rate with the current tenures placement reaching 5500+ job offers. The highest package was 60LPA and the average goes between 5LPA. The university has a dedicated placement cell and also an well developed student led e-cell. There are many internship opportunities as well both India and abroad.
Galgotias University has a very strong placement cell and more then 200 companies like Infosys, josh technology, Capgemini and many more have made given the placement offer to students and highest package is of 60 LPA
The placement are nice, this year the Highest package was of 60 Lakh and the Average package was of 5.4 Lakh. There are a lot of internships oppourtinity also so you get to experience Industry work during you 3rd year which gives you a heads up.
Our course provides internship for every student from the first year onwards as it is mandatory for everyone to do an internship from the 1st year , it also provides best placement for student who wanted to go in corporate filed ,the Highest package till now is 8lpa and lowest is 3.6 lpa and Average package is between 4 to 6 lpa
B.Tech computer Science engineering is very tech driven field which , by the assistance of new tech driven laboratories, latest generation technology focused curriculum, is very remarkable field to study and progress in.
Placements and job opportunities at Galgotias university are good. Students become eligible according to their course requirements and academic performance. Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
