- First thing i like about the campus is it has nice infrastructure like no other collage.
- Second thing is the exposure given here is also very good.
- Faculties are really humble to each and every cadet.
Dislikes
- The thing I dislike about my campus is that we have to attend so many musters.
- Second thing is that the class duration is also very lengthy.
Remarks :
The good aspects of my collage are that it has good infrastructure in overall. Like it has good sports grounds ,it has gymnasium. Coming to class facilities it has air conditioner in every class and labs, even the mess facilities are really good . Food menu is from all over the india is selected. The hostel facilities are also upto the mark.the bad aspect according to me is that the class duration is from 9 to 5 . Other than that everything is fine for me.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason for choosing this course is that I wanted to become a sailor especially navigator of the ship. This is the main reason .talking about the course curriculum the things we will be doing in the ship is only taught and the course is designed in that way. Academic faculty is also very humble and always up to solve our doubts I feel it is better than other collages. The term exams are conducted every 5 month,the difficulty level is from medium to hard .
Internships Opportunities :
The companies providing the internship are chevron , seanergy , and anglo eastern . The project will be to go on a sailing for 18 months and 12 months machine room training. The stipends are also good they provide about 45000 per month.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placements is that there should be no backlogs and no arriers also.if this condition is fulfilled then the placement chances are really high. The companies coming for placement are chevron,anglo eastern , seanergy,many more.the highest package is 13 lacks per annum in chevron company.the placement percentage is about 90%. If placement is not done for any cadet he can apply for any companies by sending their CV to the companies .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees per term will be 1,22,500 per term that is 2,45,000 per year in this the tution fees and lab fees and all the fees are included. But at starting for counselling there is counselling fee of 10000.then for seat confirmation we have to pay 30000.after that while admission we have to pay caution deposit of 30000 which will be given back while passing out if there are no damages caused to any of infrastructure. There are scholarships available for obc ,sc ,stand for people from Lakshadweep.
Campus Life :
There are two fests conducted in collage every year one is nautica which is conducted in various imu's , another is navgati conducted in IMU CHENNAI only.talking about the books and journals in library there are a total of 2,35000 books in library, there are also e books available to read in vacations,magazines like times now,sportstar and many are there.sports are also conducted like inter house and inter IMU also.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, I have opted for a hostel which is available in collage campus itself.the facilities in hostel are very good there is availability of wi-fi, fans and sufficient lighting. There is no special registration required for availing hostel. coming to hostel mess facilities the food is cooked really good and as I mentioned earlier the menu is from all over the country. The affordability is also good according to me because getting such good food outside may be difficult.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
