Good faculties Good infrastructure Considerably high patient load Good ranking among private medical colleges in Kerala Good facilities (classrooms, labs, hospital facilities etc) Academics and results are decent Not much of a college campus No significant college programs, less college life Ragging used to be a prominent issue Admission is through NEET UG examination and KEAM (Kerala Medical Allotment) alone.
Faculties are well experienced and knowledgeable and teach through lectures, small group discussions, seminars etc. There are 3 part completion tests (sessionals) by college for internal examination and 1 university exam at the end of each year. The exams are moderate, and the evaluation is pretty strict.
Internship within the hospital is compulsory for MBBS program. There is a stipend of 14k per month during the Internship period. The course is considered complete only upon completion of the entire internship schedule.
There is a compulsory rotation of 1 year in every department of the hospital during internship during which we are exposed to a lot of real life scenarios and gain plenty of clinical experience and knowledge which will be essential for later life as a clinician. Internship period can mould one as a good doctor and affect choices like that of a masters degree.
The tuition fees for my batch was around 6,95,000 along with a special fee of 50k. This got revised later and we had to play an additional amount. The fee structure is revised yearly by a commission. There is a security deposit of 10k for hostel. There is some concession and decreased fee amount for SC/ST candidates. NRI fees (25 seats out of 100 are NRI) is around 25 lakhs per year. The only scholarship available is for SC/ST students from govt.
There is an annual Arts Fest conducted by the college, where the student union organised various competitive Arts and Sports events. Apart from that, college and social life on campus is pretty low. The Central Library as well as the small libraries in various departments are well stocked with academic material from textbooks by both foreign and Indian authors to the latest medical journals and online resources. There is not much extracurricular activities on campus. Interested people can avail the various sports facilities like basketball and badminton courts, football ground etc. The college teams take part in Zonals every year and bag prizes. There are a few clubs for music, dance, photography, academics etc but their existence is confined to their social media presence. The college YouTube channel is run by the student union and shows glimpses of various college activities.

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
