Remarks :
The campus of GMC Khandwa is quiet decent. Packed with security. Hostel rooms are spacious with attached bathrooms. Usually hostels are alloted in triple sharing for first year but subsequently ypu are promoted to double sharing and single rooms in the later years. There is gym and badminton court available inside campus. A shopping complex is available inside campus as well. Lecture theater are spacious and comfortable. Patient load is good at the hospital. One drawback is that the college is associated with the district hospital of khandwa which is almost 4 kms from the college campus and no commute is provided for the same. The admission in the college is through neet score. The cutoff of this year is 630+ for general category. For admission process, a list of documents is released at the college website each year which contains information on what documents you need to carry.
Course Curriculum Overview :
MBBS is prestigious course which takes a lot of sweat and countless and continuous efforts. This is a long course of 5.5 years and academically tough. However once you get into it after so hard prepration of NEET, you feel lucky to be part of the fraternity, there is instant feeling of belonging in this proffesion. It is worth every hour i have put in the NEET prepration phase. The teaching faculties are moderate to good here. You will learn something valuable from every proffessor here. Each year 2 mid sessional exams are conducted and then we have pre university and university exams. A little part completion tests are taken here and there too. The university exams are moderately difficult.
Placement Experience :
Internship starts at the end of final year which is of 1 year. The current stipend is Rs. 14000 per month. Then subsequently after mbbs one has various directions to choose from. Either can opt for a PG branch and college otherwise we also have to complete our rural service bond.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly tuition fees is Rs. 100000. Apart from that hostel fees is Rs 12000, other miscellaneous fees (library fees, parking fees etc) all sum up to Rs. 2890. This sum total of 114890 is paid yearly. Apart from this exam fees which is varying between 5 thousand to 6 thousand depending upon the proff you are in is taken at the time of exams. There are three different scholarship programmes available for students. These scholarship include tuition fees waiver of 1 lakh. The hostel fees and others are still to be paid by the students. These programmes are: 1. Mukhymantri madhavi chhatra yojna: Available for all categories, family income should be less than 6 lakhs. 2. OBC post metric scholarship programme 3. ST/SC post metric scholarship programme. However the scholarship also has provision for 2 year rural service bond.
Campus Life :
The annual fest Mridang is conducted each year which is the most fun part of campus life. It is held in January each year. Apart from that festivals are celebrated with zeal. Ganesh utsav is a great celebration here. There are no clubs here as such apart from music club. We do have a sports complex with all indore games such as badminton, Table tennis, chess, carrom etc Gym is available inside campus Music room is also there.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel rooms are spacious and good. But in first year girls hostel is alloted in triple sharing. Subsequently each year the rooms are shifted on basis of university exams marks to double sharing rooms. The as you reach final year you are promoted to single rooms as well. All the rooms here have attached bathrooms. Regarding mess facilities: The mess fees is Rs 2500 per month. The food is okay. The mess is an optional service.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
