- The building is fairly new and we'll equipped with all facilities and laboratory for all subjects
- The lecture halls are provided with facilities like blackboard and projectors and smart classroom is also available
- The hostel is one of the best ones compared to other government medical Colleges
- Faculty is ever so enthusiastic about teaching students
- There are 2 elevators available in college and there is also availability of washrooms for handicapped.
Dislikes
- Being fairly new it has less equipment in some cases than required .
- Barely enough faculty in all departments. Could have more professors
- Hospital and college are about 4 km apart. There are no bus services available and public transports are hard to get too.
Remarks :
Being fairly new this college is still better than similar aged colleges of ratlam and newer colleges like those of shivpuri and shahdol. It has great infrastructure and the faculty is pretty good as well.Admission in this college can be taken by first passing the NEET UG examination and then participating in either all india counselling (15% of the seats) or through madhya pradesh state counselling (85% of the seats). Admission is merit based with a rank list published and choice filling done. Then on allotment of the college, there is a document verification procedure to be done and fee to be submitted and voila you are now an MBBS student.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course of mbbs spans for about 4 years and one year of compulsory internship. It includes 19 subjects. The faculty at our college is very enthusiastic about teaching students and creating great doctors. Each department consists of a hod, an associate and 1-2 assistant professors, all are qualified with md on their respective subjects. There are also technicians who are mbbs qualified and teach practical related skills. Pg students also constitute faculty for teaching purposes while simultaneously studying. We have excellent physiology and ophthalmology departments who are always trying various new methods to teach and engage students. Good pharmacology and pediatrics departments as well.
Internships Opportunities :
A compulsory internship of one year is to be done which allows students to have experience in working live in the health care system in all departments. And even though the pay is not enough for the amount of workload with 13000 per month but nothing can be done about it except petition the state council. The experience is invaluable and necessary to graduate and to sit for further post graduation exams like NEET PG and INICET. It helps students to get experienced on how to deal with diseases , patients and hospital environment.
Placement Experience :
There is a paid rural bond service required to be done after completion of the course of a span of 1 year and those having opted mukhyamantri medhavi chatra yojna doing 5 years , and you can continue working on that site even after completion of your bond of opt for preparing for pg exams. You can also opt out of the rural service by giving a penalty fee of about 10-20 lakh.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fee- 100000 Library fee- 1000 Hostel fee- 12000 Miscellaneous - 1850 Total - 114850 This is the fee for an unreserved student without any scholarship. There are various scholarships available- 1. Obc category - concession in the tuition fee available. 2. Sc and st category - concession in tuition and hostel fee both. Their total fee comes out to be around 5000. 3. Mukhya mantri medhavi chatra yojna-This allows fee concession to students who scored good in their 12th standard and also belonging to families with income of less than 600000 pa and coming under a few more clauses, in exchange for a bond of 5 year rural service.
Campus Life :
Good social life with fests held on about January every year. All festivals are celebrated with active involvement of all students and many times faculties as well. Ganesh chaturthi, Holi, guru poornima, etc all festivities are celebrated in the campus. The library has all types of books on all subjects and also has partnered with prepladder coaching for pg materials and have ipad and pc available for all student use. Annual cricket competitions are held inter-batch involving pgs and sometimes the facilities as well. Fest also has sports like volleyball, cricket, badminton track and field events and indoor competitions like table tennis, carrom, chess and gaming. There is a music club and sometimes movies are played for the students in the auditorium.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are separate for boys and girls with triple sharing rooms for first years and then double sharing and single rooms for subsequent years. Each room has a balcony and toilet attached. There is a mess service available which has affordable meals which are okayish in quality. You can register for hostel at the time of admission , and with a yearly fee of 12000 and access to various services it's actually the best living condition available. For internship students are shifted to a hostel near the hospital having common washrooms but single rooms for all.

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.
