Remarks :
NSS college of Engineering Palakkad is ranked 4th in all of the engineering colleges in Kerala.I took this college because I couldn't get into other 3 like the branch I have now.The good part of my college is that the teaching faculties are good and well educated.I personally didn't encounter any problems in the area of learning from the college.But the bad part is the college is not well maintained and the campus is not organized in good manner and for day scholars the travel is bit difficult there are only limited amount of bus in set times if you miss the you have to walk around 2 KM to get to the bus stop.The admission process was simple,by qualifying KEAM and having a good rank I good this college at my 1st allotment and I joined .There was no interviews but there was a 1 week induction program for us to familiarise with other students and college.For ECE branch from my knowledge there are people from rank 3000 to 18000 in KEAM after all the allotment (including mopup, category).
Course Curriculum Overview :
The educational qualification of teachers is good and there are well skilled they help out students when needed and guide them,for me it was kind of strict . Generally the pace is fast in even semesters and comparatively a little slow in odd semesters.The work load is heptic with all the assignment, lab record, tutorial, and also the 2 series exam for each sem which is quite bad,but I time we will get used to it.The curriculum is quite bad it is designed in such a way that in short time a large amount of things are to be done and also study for the semester exam with less time to relax and enjoy the college
Internships Opportunities :
The intership availability in our college is very poor.I personally didn't get any intership done in the past 3 years and college doesn't promote intership much. According to my knowledge in my class there was none who got a intership with stipend.
Placement Experience :
The placement is just below average than I expected it to be.This year IBM recruited some students and also net big company is Altsom.The highest is I think 12 lakh per annum and minimum is 4 lakh per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Actually for a semester the fees is around 8000/- which include both for tution and exam . There was a 15000/- donation for PTA which include lab fee, admission fee and all other fees.For the complete course it will be around 64000/- but it is not increasing ,all this is mainly for general category.For management there is an additional donation of 4 lakh for ECE brach and for CS it is 6 lakh.Over the years the university fees which is the 8k per sem has not increased but the initial management fees does have increased
Campus Life :
The campus life is quite sad for a day scholar because of the insufficiency in transportation.The big event that our college will conduct is Dyuksha which is Tech fest and it is quite big ,but happens only once in 2 years. There are other program but there is not much for everyone the enjoy equally.The library and sports part of my college is good library have a vast amount of books mainly oriented on studying only a little books on no educational topics and there is strong support given to all the athletes in our college.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
