Remarks :
I choose this college for following reasons It is near to my home and I am getting state quota It is offering me a circuital branch which is the best considering my jee rank and colleges with good ranking. It has a good placement record and also quite prestigious and has a good alumini network. It is in the middle of the city unlike any other NIT or IIT which are far far away from cities and so you can access city facilities quite easily
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are quite good , they are some of the best researchers in the country. The curriculum also gets updated almost every year branch wise , fulfilling the current needs along with introduction of some new courses. Labs are equipped with new kits and devices.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships opportunities are less as companies don’t take many students for on campus internships. They preferred girls , students with high CGPA , and from computer science branch. If you come under any one of these you have an edge over others
Placement Experience :
Their is lot of opportunities in tech especially. Recently this year a large number of companies from core branches like mechanical, electrical has also visited campus and companies for supply chain and trading also offer good pacakages
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For Sc/ STs there is no tuition fees For obc and ews it is around 44k each semester For general, it stands at around 60-70k each semester. This is only tuition fees, for hostel and mess you have to pay sepeartely. The above fees covers you tuition , labs , library , bus services inside campus and caution money. For hostel fees is 15500 for triple occupancy, 18000 for double occupancy and 20-21k for single rooms. Room allotment is done by authorities also single occupancy is not available for 1st and 2nd year students until now.
Campus Life :
In the last 5 years , clg has seen immense infrastructure development. I have been here for 2 years now and I seen new departments , student activity centres and labs getting opened up. There is still work going on to develop it further in the coming years clg will seen some more drastic changes. Social life is limited as there are lesser cafes and also far apart. Boys and girls hostels are also are far ends. Distance is a big factor and apart from it their are no common parks or sitting area for gatherings other than cafes.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
