- The campus is huge though all the department are close together
- I like the faculty teaching the students as the teachers like a friends
Dislikes
- The thing I dislike about my college is it's old infrastructure and sometimes the classrooms are not clean
- The campus is big and vehicles are banned
Remarks :
I wanted to specifically do Mechanical engineering the people who working in the field I asked some of them and they said NIT Rourkela and this was the best mechanical that I could have cotton to JEE mains as I didn't qualified for JEE advanced
Course Curriculum Overview :
The teachers are very passionate about the specific subjects the curriculum is same as any other IIT or NIT for the first year a bit awkward we have subject like bio for the first semester the the gap between mid term and end term was only 20 days
Internships Opportunities :
As of right now I have not opted for internship or anything like that shots but from what I have heard and got to know is please a good internships not hard to come by since it's a prestigious college
Placement Experience :
I don't know much since I just joined but from what I have heard for my department the placement are good for mechanical branch the median was around 9.5 lpa while the highest was around 19 most students do try to opt for higher studies or exams like cat and gate
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I don't remember the exact tuition fee but it was 70000 semester the hostels are 200500 for the first year and increases by another 750 for the second year and same third and fourth year mess fees is 27500 It's an NIT so the fees are relatively low compared to any other college since the government subsidizes the fees for the students
Campus Life :
The campus life is good everyone has been friendly so far the campus life has been good recently we also had a cultural fest which was a lot of fun you are lots of clubs also available in the college and I going to be another techfest in the coming month
Hostel Facilities :
Do I didn't opped for hostel I want visited at the rooms Goa crammed but the clean the two people staying enough about 100 square feet room you have a small balcony a table chair and well almera the food in the mess is good

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

There's a good amount of placement opportunities but the only minus point is the Training and placement department is same for the other branches of this college such as Lakshmi Naraine college of Technology and science bhopal

If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.

MBBS a rollercoaster ????

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
