Remarks :

You will first be generally interviewed by a counsellor at EThames during admission, who can clear your doubts regarding anything from your academics to the fee structure and amenities. After once you have paid the caution fees, after a few days a interview will be held with a person from the college management. There is an expectation of percentage in your exams of which they require more than 65% to try to secure a seat at EThames. There is no need for preparation and keeping your general knoweldge known to yourself and staying confident is key. Some of the good aspects of the college are there are various peer clubs formed to engage students in various interested activities, events that range from cultural, sports, academics which are held and organized by the students and the college management. The faculty is also very professional and shows hospitality to students. Bad aspects are that the infrastructure can be updated, Could offer sports activities as there are currently none.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The politeness, eagerness of clearing doubts and professionalism towards students make the faculty's teaching methods even more promising to the students. At the end of every semester you have a final exam, which is typically held after 4-5 months into the semester. The exams are not very difficult and may feel difficult to some students as the entire book of the particular subjects is the portion to study for these final exams, though I find the exams to be relatively easy.

Internships Opportunities :

Many well known startups and MNC companies like Amazon, Google, Infosys, Schneider have approached EThames to offer students various internships in various different fields, with a pretty nice stipend package. Lowest Stipend can be from 3,000 per month onwards to some companies offering a maximum amount of almost 15,000 as a per month stipend to students.

Placement Experience :

Some of the recruiters who have approached EThames include Deloitte, Wells and Fargo, Microsoft, Google, Infosys, Cognizant, Amazon, Goldmann-Sachs and many famous start-up companies which are rising. Average package recieved by students are somewhere around 3 LPA wheras some students have recieved a highest package of 9 LPA-12 LPA. (This depends based on their profiles, their professional social activity, their performance in academics) Almost every student gets placements, provided they go through with the training and guidance offered by the placement officers and mentors at EThames. My plans after getting my degree is to secure a well-paying job and move abroad for further studies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The year-wise fees I pay at EThames degree college is 1,40,000 per year, which sums to 70,000 per semester. Each year contains 2 semesters, where we pay 70,000 for each semester. The entire fee structure for this course at EThames for 3 years is 4,25,000. The fee structure for courses now at EThames have been increased and revised, though I do not know the exact figure. During admission process, you would have to pay a caution fees of 25,000 INR to block your seat at the college. There are specialization courses offered for students based on their previous 10+2 academic performace, and it is charged extra at 10,000 INR, making it 80,000 per semester or 1,60,000 per year for some students who have opted for it. Scholarships and merits are offered to students who score a 9.5 or above CGPA in their final semester exams. As per my knoweldge, there are no more extra fees that are needed to be paid for here at EThames other than the specialization course fees.

Campus Life :

Life at campus is relatively great, though you may not have a lot of options for outdoor activities as the college is located right in the heart of the city, where it is jam-packed with bulidings and traffic. There are various fests organized in terms of cultural, sports and academics which are organized in any month based on the schedule of all the students. These kinds of events are organized to encourage holistic development in students and actively engage them together and learn about the effort of hardwork and teamwork, all while having fun. There is a well-equipped library which has many books available and a stand which contains the latest newspapers, tabloids and all sorts of magazines to instill learning values in students during their free time. There are social, fitness, photography, writing, poetry, sports clubs and many more that are being run and managed by the students themselves. Currently, there are no sports activities at college and students have given suggestions.

Hostel Facilities :

No Hostel Facility is offered by the college themselves, there are PG's outside surrounding the college within a 5-7 km radius, which I have no information about as I am a day-scholar student. Students can search the internet for accomodation or enquire by themselves through known associates.

A glimpse of MRUH

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.

Not so great

Placement Experience :

Placements and Internships The placement opportunities at my college are average, with a limited number of companies visiting the campus every year. Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

Where learning meets industry

Placement Experience :

One good thing is that placements aren't treated as something that only matters in the final year. From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

A satisfying learning journey

Placement Experience :

Best part is the college doesn't wait until the final year to talk about careers. We get opportunities to work on projects, improve our coding, build resumes, and attend interview preparation sessions from the early semesters. Internship opportunities are shared regularly and the college guides students through the application process. This has helped me gain practical experience and understand what companies expect.

Learning, growth and great memories

Placement Experience :

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT

Placement Experience :

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

College life beyond classroom

Placement Experience :

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

A great place to meet like minded people

Course Curriculum Overview :

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
