A short review of Administrative Management College.
Likes
- I like the environment and atmosphere of the campus.
- I also like the affordable fee structure.
Dislikes
- I dislike the lack of possibility of internships and placements.
- I also dislike average infrastructure of the college. We need much more technical infrastructure than the current ones especially for BCA, because of it being a technological study.
Remarks :
There are many good and bad aspects for the college, a coin has two sides so, from my point of view, Good aspects: 1. The fee structure is affordable for many. 2. The environment of the campus is very peaceful. 3. There’s facilities for more than just theory studies. Bad aspects: 1. The infrastructure is average. 2. Limited and entry level placements. 3. Very less practice exposure. When I joined the college which was 2 month late than the others, I didn't had to write any exams; the reason being my course is bachelors and I had to meet up with faculties and the admission cell.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My personal opinion about the course curriculum is not much of a good one. The reason being, sometimes, the subjects will be changed at the last minute. Me being a BCA student wasn’t expecting to study subjects which are not connected to my subject, such as, EVS etc. The reason why I chose this course is that the course that I did in schooling, which is 11th and 12th was Computer Science. As for the faculties, most of the faculties are good but personally for me, I think some of the faculties don’t really make a good fit to the position. But there are many good teachers who teaches immaculately.
Internships Opportunities :
As I said, I’m still not in the level for placements or internships, I will be doing in later on. As of now, I’m not doing any. But I’m sure there are pretty decent internships provided by the help of college.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement is good cgpa in the first place. As for AMC, they only has entry level placements. But recently they’ve been expanded that field. We are now linked with many respected companies, such as, infosys etc. Me being in third semester, I’m still not sure about the placement drives and the other information about that.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees are almost ?1,00,000 for a year, for the first year which is first semester and second semester it is ?1,00,000 and the second year and third year, which being third, fourth, fifth and sixth semester the fees are Rs.92,000 per year. I got admission through management quota, even though I think this fee structure is not bad and affordable for many. As for some of the students in my class, they have different scholarships which is being allotted according to the caste and sometimes even with the states they’re from, the locals, which are Karnataka people has a lot of scholarships and other concessions to the fees structure.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is pretty fun and good. AMC being a very beautiful campus, I don’t think the campus life is boring. It’s always nice. As for the clubs, we do have some clubs which will be said by the teachers or faculty. As for the availability of books & journals in the library, we do have two libraries, one is for degree students and one for engineering and I have observed that there are a large variation of the books and journals. And answering the question of fest, we had colosseum x aadhya fest a few months back, we had a dj night, we had freshers day for the new students, farewell for the graduated ones and many more.
Hostel Facilities :
I’m staying in the college hostel of AMC Engineering college. The food in hostel is not the best as in a five star rated restaurant food but it’s not bad that we can’t eat also. We will be provided with vegetables, fruits, egg and chicken differently in different days. We get egg on Wednesday nights, chicken on Sunday afternoons, and we get sweets and fruits 1 or 2 times a week. The registration process is pretty easy, you have to do all the necessities from the accounts department and pay an advance to the hostel so that they can hold a bed for you. The hostel fee for a year is, 1,30,000 for room and almost 1,15,000 for hall.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
