- acharya campus is a absolute dream, which a 120 acre of land there are 4-5 buildings of various departments. acharya has greenery all over which almost makes you forget that your in a college campus. college has many food spots offering good food at affordable rates. evenings in acharya is known for jamming where students after classes come with their guitars and just vibe. acharya has one of the biggest stadiums in bangalore.
Dislikes
- number of lifts are less for such a huge number of students. the college is situated a little further away from the main town bangalore. takes a lot of time to get into bangalore maintown.
Remarks :
there was no entrance examination. no interview or written test. admission was based on merit of 12th and 10th grade marksheet. after paying the registration fees of 40,000 and registering your name, a few days after they would send you the provisional admission letter saying you have been accepted. this will be send through email and a admission councelor from acharya will shortly contact you regarding further proceedings
Course Curriculum Overview :
ive chose the course psychology + criminology as its a very interesting combination of subjects that facilitated both of my learning interests. crimnology also provides classes of forensic science. there are total of 5 faculty in crimnology department, all of them make the learning experience enjoyable. they explain things in a way thats easy to understand. they are always approachable. psychology there are more than 5 faculty members. psychology faculty creates a welcoming environment. all of them have deep knowledge in their subjects.they always offer new insights
Placement Experience :
acharya provides compulsory placement training for students of all departments. where various trainers come and talk different quantitative and qualitative aptitude tests and teach them skills. this happens weekly 2 times.

Campus Life :
acharya has a excellent campus life. acharya provides various sports activities like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, khabadi, kho kho, etc. the also provide compulsory physical fitness training to all students ( 2 days a week) between 6:30 - 7:30am for discipline there is NCC cadet programs as well. there is also NSS program all about community service. there is blood donation every year. acharya has so many lively fests like onam, kannada rajyosatva, dandiya night and the most important the acharya habba which is the biggest college fest in bangalore. acharya also accommodates swimming pool and gym. its everything you look for in a campus life.

The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
