- People of the college are amazing, the college gives me the opportunity to meet different people from different places and of different academic experience many times
- Infrastructure is also good. But the co curricular activities are most fun. The best thing about the college is its location. Sorrounded by hills.
Dislikes
- Hostel infrastructure is the worst. They don't have facilities for other sports.
- The faculty could be improved, more qualified teachers with better teaching experience.
Remarks :
Natural enclave , good weather and something different than average India made me chose this college. We had to give CUET UG exam to get admission. No interviews or group discussion. Direct admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I did the course of BA psychology which was very intriguing and rigorous in the last year. We did a minor research project that taught me many things. The curriculum is quite easy. Exams are also not tough. Faculties are good but the major issue for non- mizo students is the lectures are sometimes completely in mizo so you end up understanding nothing sometimes. Some amazing faculties are also there like Mam Tluangi of my department, her lectures were the ones that made me think about the topic whole day.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for one yet. But in BA psychology you're placed as an assistant to HR or assistant to some clinical psychologist. You have to study more to earn more in psychology. Go for masters become a psychologist and then you could earn substantially more.
Placement Experience :
There are no placements for science or arts. Some companies come for bba and bcom. But overall no one is placed. Some people get jobs but not a good job. They would get the same job if they don't do thisdegree too. Placements wise its 0.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
fees : Ist year - 9400(tuition)+ 3000(exam fees) 2nd year- 9400+ 3000 3rd year- 11000 + 4700(exam fees) Total : 40500 Hostel fees: (collegehostel) 36000 per year for 3years Total -76500( round off) Private hostel is better but slightly costly:- 60000 per year
Campus Life :
Clubs and social life is the feature of the college. There are around 20-25 clubs. Very wide ranging from art , craft , science, innovation, adventure, sports , cricket football, etc. Fests and week sports events are a common occurrence every year. Friday cca is sometimes given for club activities. Infrastructure is apt for football, basketball, badminton, tabletennis and other indoor games. But cricket doesn't get support as it isn't popular in Mizoram. There are many halls toh conduct drama, art craft theatre. Library is small now but still one of the best in the region.
Hostel Facilities :
I had opted for hostel in the 1st year, stayed there for 3semesters but was removed later after i failed to maintain my attendance of 75%. In those 3 semesters i enjoyed the most with my friends. Even the hostel was a full 'mess' friends make it awesome for you. I still miss my hostellers. But on a serious note , the PUC boys hostel has the most tasteless food, no supply of water in bathroom, you have to fill your bucket for daily use. There is a common room but the tv sometimes doesn't work. Sometimes there is no current for days and no inverter. I rate it 5 only because of my friends. The staff of hostel is nice in behaviour.

I chose chemistry because it is interesting for me,most of the professors have completed their phd and are associate professors few are Professor,the teaching method is good tho, For the exams,Final is conducted in may for the Even semester and November for the Odd semester, the difficulty of the exams are quite moderate

The faculties are quite good. The faculties are very knowledgeable and the teaching assistant present at the labs are also pretty helpful. So for the exam, in a semester there is a mid semester exam and an end semester exam. During end sems you will also have your practical exams

Campus placement option is available. All campus placement is done from Delhi campus. Professors and placement cell will help u get to it. You'll be able to make connections through various visiting professor which will help u to get internship.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen the physics course as I am interested in pursuing further education in the field of physics. All of the teaching as well as the non teaching staffs are very experienced with most of them having more than 20+ years of teaching experience. They have all cleared PhD and they are helping us pursue our further goals. For each unit we have in our syllabus, three very qualified professors are assigned to teach us that unit according to the topics they have their qualifications in. For every semester, there are a total of 3 internal examinations and an end semester final exam. The three mid semester exams are CAT-I, CAT-II and CAT-III. The CAT-I usually starts from the 3rd month after the commencement of a new semester. The CAT-II is held 1-2 montths after the CAT-II. The end semester exams are held at the 5th month of a semester.
