This being a govt. institute of course I had to give a written examination called AKTU entrance examination which is a state level exam for Engineering aspirants. Post result, there is a process of counselling which needs to be carefully done as many people miss out on good colleges due to wrong priority setup during the counselling registration.
The course curriculum is very carefully designed keeping the industry requirements in mind. The faculties at the campus are very highly competent and approachable for guidance at any given point of time. I was in the 2nd batch of the institute overall and the 1st batch for electrical engineering which gave me a lot of opportunity as well as responsibility to shape different activities, clubs and committees and give a level in the initial days for upcoming batches to level it up which they are doing incredibly well.
I had done 2 internships during my time of engineering one with NTPC and another with Aptron technologies. The final year projects are also taken with utmost seriousness by faculty which pushes the students to give their best which has helped many students publish their first research papers in renowned journals.
The placement opportunities are gradually increasing and with each passing year the number of companies visiting the campus are engineering multifold. While many old students have assured a place for themselves in different government job roles as well as in reputed institutions for higher studies.
While the institute fee is gradually increasing with inflation but in parallel there are multiple scholarship opportunity are regularly increasing. For many of the students during my course of time paid their institute fee by scholarship, they only had to pay the mess fee from their pockets that too was something around just 30K for a year
The campus is situated bit outside the city area and hence the students have to travel a bit for good restaurants, party places and outing. I believe it is good also from the lenses of education that students get to study in a silent environment at the same time have entertainment at their disposal at a bit of distance. The campus library is growing with each passing day in terms of making different books, magazines and papers readily available. Multiple clubs and committees keep the students engaged and active.
The Hostel option is available to majority of the students as college had 2 hostel for boys and 1 girls hostel available during our time and was continuously expanding the infrastructure. The food quality was fair I would say but the student committees gradually becoming more powerful have enhanced the quality and hygiene of the mess and food . Many people rented rooms outside college which is available in very cheap.
They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
There are regular placement drives that are conducted on a monthly basis. We have regular updates for campus placement drives that are shared with us and we can participate in them to choose the best options for ourselves.

B.Tech computer Science engineering is very tech driven field which , by the assistance of new tech driven laboratories, latest generation technology focused curriculum, is very remarkable field to study and progress in.
Placements and job opportunities at Galgotias university are good. Students become eligible according to their course requirements and academic performance. Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
