- College building is quite good as compared to other government college. Faculty is quite supportive and engaged with students . I campus Life is very much decent environment is clean , View night is amazing and during rainy season campus look extremely good
- Seniors are quite supportive their is ragging free campus for sure . Many college clubs for students are present like College Cultural Council which very much active and organised many events run by students. Other clubs are technical club social club photography club take part and these make your life's easy in college campus.
Dislikes
- College administration is quite slow in taking decision. You guys gonna face many problems sometimes like water and mess food related. Faculty is not taking any kind of responsibility to organise any kind of events nor giving them permission to organise by themselves
- College need more plants their is very less amount of plants and tree . We need more plants because in summer temperatures is quite high in that area.
Remarks :
To be admission to this college you have to take the IIT JEE examination. Based on the rank you get in the JEE examination you can able to take admitted. For that you have to take part in the AKTU counselling process from there you get an allotment letter and easily get into this college. In jee examination at least 80 percentile you can easily get into this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose Electrical Engineering in this college because this course is quite good in all REC present in our state. The 765 KV power plant just behind the college makes this course more interesting and relatable during studies and class time easy to understand the part. The faculty of electrical engineering is quite good they relate to power plants making it interesting. Semesters are held for approximately after 5 months. The scholarship committee of this college is quite good and supportive. I give 5 out of 5 to the scholarship committee. They interact with students and make sure that every eligible student can fill the form out and get their scholarship easily. The scholarship committee is very active. All faculties are well qualified from different IITs and NITs and most of the faculty have done their PhD also. Specifically electrical engineering faculty are quite supportive and their methods of teaching are good.
Internships Opportunities :
For electrical engineering students there is quite a good opportunity to get summer training. Just behind the college, there is a Power plant of 765 KV due to the college support students are getting their summer training/internship easily. The faculty of electrical engineering are quite supportive in this kind of thing like internships and training they support students. Especially our HOD Dr Anshul Kr Mishra is very supportive of this kind of thing. The internship is unpaid for both sides. College is very strict about the final year project you have to be out of the box.
Placement Experience :
The training and placement cell of this college is very bad. Only final-year students are allowed for drive companies are for pre-final-year students. Only sales companies are visiting fir drives and for the very minimum package. College is not focusing on core companies to bring them on board college T&P is not doing their work properly for student placement they only try on sales companies they have to focus on core one. I don't remember the name of the companies one I remember is that Teachnook for sales. I have planned a UG degree after completing of PG degree.
Campus Life :
Abhivyanajana is the college cultural fest which is organised in April. It depends on how students and club members are active if students are not pressured by the faculty and administration they are not going to organise any single event on the college campus. Abhinandan is a college fresher's party name. Taking Permission to organise any event is very tough work for students because faculty are not taking any kind of responsibility for such kind of activities. It's all over whether the students can get permission or not. Books are present in the library in a decent quantity. Library and study room facilities are good full AC proof. For sports, you get only badminton and TT in a good way means the badminton court is good but grounds for cricket volleyball kabbadi kho kho need very high maintenance that I don't think college is going to do in the coming 2 or 3 years. Different clubs for students are present Cultural Council, Social Club, Literary and Hobby club, and Yoga club.
Hostel Facilities :
There is a total of 3 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel present on the college campus. The condition of the 2 hostels is quite good because they are newly made but the 1st one needs some touch up means maintenance and it will go on. Hostel is very much affordable 12k per year only. 24 *7 lights are present for shower geysers are also present during winters. Yes, there are a lot of PG and rental houses for students in Mainpuri many of the students live in PG and rental houses. The rental house and PG are just 5-6 km away from the college due to the highway but there is a new PG that is under construction just near the college area. Mess food quality is not good I will rate 1 out of 5 to mess food.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
