- The college established 100 years ago has tried to maintain the old campus with little modifications.Also there are a lot of free spaces in the college where the students can hangout.We have 4 playgrounds,a big theatre,other halls and a big 3 storeyed library .

SB College,one of the renowned colleges of Kerala was established a century ago with notable alumnis like Oommen Chandy,Prem Nazeer and others.The vast campus provides a healthy learning experience to the students and the college has an exceptional faculty.The admission procedure for Bcom and other degree courses doesn't require having to go through any tests or interviews.It is solely based on student merit in 12th standard as per MG university guidelines. Students can also get preferential advantage during admissions in either or all of the quotas mentioned hereby-Community,Sports,Cultural. The college also provides vast opportunities to its students in all the possible ways.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college being an autonomous college under the MAHATMA GANDHI UNIVERSITY conducts their exams and assessment as per the universitys guidelines.The college always makes sure to conduct timely exams ,both big and small.The teachers are highly qualified and most of them had acquired or is trying to acquire a Doctorate in their respective fields of study
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted for an internship programme yet because the internship programme can be opted only towards the end of the 4th semester. Companies like Accenture,Infosys,EY, Federal Bank,SBI welcomes our students.
Placement Experience :
The college provides placement opportunities to students upon their last year in the college.The college has a PLACEMENT AND ASSISTANCE CELL (PAAC) facilitating placement assistance to their students in the year preceding the passing year .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For aided batches the annual fee ranges from 2500-3000 and the caution deposit amounts to 360.For self financing batches per semester fees amounts to INR 18500 . Scholarships are granted to economically and socially backward high scoring students department wise and college wise.
Campus Life :
SB college is known for having the largest library in Kerala.It is a three storeyed building with detailed sections of multilingual literary works and academic treatise. College Arts fest,Union Day,Ethnic day,College day,Sports day are the various college wise fests and there are other departmental fests held within the college with participation from other colleges. We also different active clubs such as Music,Dance,Drama,Film,Quiz and IEDC clubs and they actively conduct events for the whole college. The college also upholds it's pride by giving excellent support and guidance to a well trained sports team who constantly participate in district,state and national sports events.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
