Remarks :
The name of IIT Madras itself made me to join the institute. The campus life and development oppurtunities available here are incomaparable. My selection as based on my rank in JEE Advanced. I got the rank under cutoff of JOSAA then able to get the seat allocated. Aftwer that on the day of physical verification there was a document verification process. After that you are alloted a hostel room (if you want) and application letter is printed.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is quite flexible and was the best choice available to me at the time of JOSAA. The professors are themselves holding PHDs in various top class institutes around the globe. They are very friendly and supportive to the students. The difficulty level is quite on the higher side. The CGPA is based on relatve grading not on absolute marks you get in an exam. We got 2 quizzes and an end semester examination in the first semester on a gap of 1 month each.
Placement Experience :
The placements are totally based over your CGPA and branch in some cases as demanded by the recruiter. There are top companies from around the globe to get to the placements and recruit students. There is no as such barrier set by college. We are free to apply in any company we want based on the interests of the company. There is placement and internship cell working hard to not to miss any oppurtunities to the students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The complete tuition fees accounts around 2.5lpa for B.S. and B.tech students. There are scholarships given by institute as a conscession in fees based on Parents's annual income. The details are given as: Parent income----%Scholarship Below 1 lac --- 100% Below 5 lac ----66% Above 5 lac --- no scholarship @ SC, ST studemnts no need to pay their tuition fees.
Campus Life :
Sarang is the cultural fest being conducted in the month of January each year. Else there are many tech fests and other cultural events going on insisde the campus. I would say each occassion is celebrated to the fullest. A wide range of books and internal and national journals are available in the library. I love the classroom as they are digitally upgraded helping in delivering the content more precisely , Spots and extracurricular activities also got no chiils. Olympic size swimming pool and cricket ground. Each and every sport is available in its best possible form. There are many technical, cultural and other socities based over different motto. Study circles and competitive exam socities like UPSC, GATE etc. are there to help students get a company.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is quite descent but yua a lot of variety is available. we have each mess divided into four categories: south veg south non-veg north veg north non-veg. The hostel and mess fees combines upto 80000 per year. Registration is done soon after you get your addmisiion letter and then ahow it to hostel wardens and then you will be alloted a room.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.
ITS VALUE FOR MONEY
Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum
