- The college provides a first-in class faculty, who are been on the field for at least 15 years
- It has the best infrastructure; 3-storied library, spaces, 3 cafeterias, and a green campus
Dislikes
- The space within the college is very small compared to nearby colleges.
- The institution does not give out the charisma of a college, but more of a training institute.
Remarks :
The honest reason to choose this college was to increase the social network that I have with the AIR 20 college, according to NIRF 2024. They offer a lot of off-field experiences compared to other colleges in the state, and that indeed keeps it one of a kind. The admission process went through a half-day test, which had GD, PI & aptitude test.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course was something that fit to my personality, among the many courses that the college provides. Also, I do had an affinity towards social work during my school time, which indeed made me choose the course. The faculty depth of the department is clearly exceptional and do help us improving our chances to gain the skills that we aspired for. Nearly most of them are PhD. scholars and have published several papers. Our principal is also one of the faculty member. They use latest technologies for taking classes, and make sure that we are getting along. The college even hosts an annual international conference DYUTI, which clearly widens our horizons. The exams are on time, as the college is autonomous, and difficulty level would be 3.7/5, if you ask me.
Internships Opportunities :
I have completed my internship in Rajagiri OUTREACH, Eloor Municipality, CSL Ravipuram and HCL Foundation, Chennai. At Rajagiri OUTREACH, worked under a student scholarship program, in Eloor Municipality, I worked as a case worker & at CSL and HCL Foundation I worked as a CSR intern.
Placement Experience :
Most of the placement criteria shows about not having any arrears for the semester examinations. Some of the recruiters came for the students were HCL Foundation, Federal Bank, TCS, DELOITTE etc. The highest was 6 LPA. About 90% applied students do get placed during their course itself.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As the course is an aided one, we only got to spend 60,464/- for the whole program in 2023. But things are getting expensive otherwise. The students need to take care every other expenses that comes along with the program. Recently they have increased the examination fee to 1500/-, which is almost double than last time. They do offer scholarships, and informs students about them over the college email. But since I belong to general category and economically stable, I did not apply for any scholarships so far.
Campus Life :
The college do have different clubs and have students actively participating on them. The latest was fashion club, which is currently trending. They do conduct fest every year, each year different departments take care of it, and it happens mid-august. The college also has a handful of sports achievements in basketball, fencing, badminton etc. All classrooms have digital boards and most of them are air-conditioned. It has a 3-storied library, with literally every book that are associated with social work.
Hostel Facilities :
The college provides different hostels for ug and pg students. PG students have their hostel within the premises of the college. The fees are bit extreme compared to the facility. It is roughly 8-10k per month, including food. Currently I am staying in a working men's hostel near to the college

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
