Likes
- The people that we meet in the college are going to last us a lifetime and those experiences will never be forgotten
- The college has a good campus though it is relatively small.
Dislikes
- Life at the college might be hectic and we may feel like we are stuck in a loop and get mentally exhausted and most of the time the faculty wouldn't care.
- the college canteen is not really good though there are other options on campus
Remarks :
There were various factors that led me choose this particular course and college. It is reputed as one of Kerala's best private colleges with decent hostel facilities due to a large number of NRI students. The college has got a good placement record. To get admission into the college the most common method is to write the KEAM exam. The college despite being autonomous relies on the Kerala Government councelling method for seat allocation. The seat is allocated based on the ranked attained by the students. The computer science and engineering course is particlarly difficult to get admission to as you may need to be in the top 5000 in the KEAM rankings. The college considers both the 12th Grade marks as well as the KEAM ranking.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the computer science and engineering course as i had an early interest in programming. The course curriculum is well put together with the iniitial semesters being the hardest and then easing off towards the final semesters. The facilites provided by the college are immaculate. They have numerous well equipped labs for programming and computer science related subject to labs for CAD/CAM. The faculty is a mix of young and old with many teachers who used to teach at NITs and having Phds
Internships Opportunities :
The students are allowed to do their individual interships during the semester breaks and during their final year. The intership is scrutinized by the placement cell before they are recognized as genuine.
Placement Experience :
The college usually does well in placement and they provide placement training to students in the final year. The most common recruiters are TCS but several core companies from Kochi Infopark also make offers to students. The average package is about 4LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for students who get admission through management and government allocation quota both are the same at Rs. 90K . There is a Rs. 1Lack refundable deposit for all students that they pay at the time of registration. The fees for students gaining admission through the NRI quota is a bit higher. The fees for students who opt for the twinning program also have to pay more than double the usual fee.
Campus Life :
The campus life we have is decided upon by the people that we surround ourselves with. There are various activities that happen all through the week both technical and artistic. The college organises 1 technical fest and 1 cultural fest per year. The technical fest is conducted during the odd semesters and the cultural fest is conducted in the even semester along with the sports competitions. The library is well stacked to cater to needs of the students and additionaly some departments have separate libraries of their own. There are several groups and clubs being run at the college with almost all of them being student administered. There IEEE societies, IEDC,IEE, Hack Clubs , CSI, Tinkerhub,etc; There are artistic clubs for dancing and singing and bands as well.
Hostel Facilities :
The Hostel Infrastructure is far better than most other hostels that I have seen. The hostel mess provides decent food as the menu is partly decided by students through student representatives. Non vegetarian options are provided on all days except fridays. The hostel fees are depending upon the room that we choose and theye can range from 44K to 1.25Lacks. The Hostel mess fees is 50K. The students can apply for the hostel after they get admission at the college.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
