Education standards in central universities are really high, we have well qualified professors, inorder to get into cuap we have to write cuet which is conducted all over India, through our cuet score one can apply for counselling in various central universities according to their personal choice, there are reservation benefits.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose political science as a major because it's currently on demand and its a less chosen path. The professors in university have doctorates and have wide scope of knowledge and insights. The exams were conducted in 3 intervals every month respectively. The paper is subjective and a thorough prepration is mandatory
Internships Opportunities :
As a fresher, I haven't opted for any internships yet, but I aim to apply for internship in ministry of external affairs or any think tanks. The professors will guide us regarding the internships. There are wide range of scope for internships
Placement Experience :
The Central University of Andhra Pradesh (CUAP) in Anantapur has a good placement record. In the 2023–2024 academic year, 126 students were placed with good packages. The average package offered is around 4 lakhs per annum. About 50% of students got placed from our RMIT and TTM departments. The average package offered is 4 Lacs per annum. Companies like Jio Mart, Pantaloons, Infosys, etc., come here and offer placements. About 50% of students got internships in Jio Mart, V-Mart, and retail management sector.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
11500 is paid as a academic fee per semester and 15000 is the mess bill for semester and 14500 is for the hostel room and the maintenance of it. National scholarship portal is available and refund of fee also happens according to reservations.
Campus Life :
Campus is a boom for cultural programmes as the uni is filled with people from all the states. Onam, pongal, durga pooja etc were celebrated in the campus. The library has wide collections of books and the faculty is so friendly in assisting. They're indoor and outdoor sport activities that one can choose. There are youth associations that one can join according to their interests
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, the hostel are pretty decent and comfortable. The view around the hostel is breathtaking as it's surrounding by hills, the sunrise and sunset are all worth it. The mess fee is 15000 and hostel fee is 14500 for one semester. The mess food is kind of disappointing.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
