Many factors were their in my mic for choosing this college . New Industry relevant curriculum . A good Peer group . Geographical Proximity of Banglore . Highly Qualified and professional teacher . Reputation of Scaler in the Market Admission process consisted of one written examination and three or two interview rounds, There is no specific cutoff for the college it depends on the difficulty of that particular round of test.
I believe the college's curriculum is best and the teaching method after class assignments and practical learning is very good. We have specific lab sessions after every programming, web development or dsa classes in which we have to do 1-20 questions on that topic with the help of T.A(teaching assistance). Our faculties are industry experts like our programming and dsa classes are taken by kshitij mishra sir i.e ex snapdeal like that our Batch success manager is Purna sir i.e ex Amazon so faculties are top notch and if a student is in scaler he doesn't have to go here or there for guidance.
No Not yet as college internships are more ideally for a student of second year or third year not for first year so I am not so much skilled for internships but surely next year we will be doing the internships
Eligibilty Criteria for placement is 5.5 CGR Many Recruiters visit scaler for internships and no batch is passed or in final year so they come for job but placement in scaler is very good Recently Uber, Allen, Growth School, Dukaan and many more companies visited campus for internship recruitment Many students have got interships of 20-30 Thousand per month and some have got more than 30 thousand and some also have got more than a lakh per month
The Fee for every year in Scaler increases Year 1- 382666(College+Hostel) Year 2- 522666(College+Hostel) Year 3- 399666(College only as Hostel is optional) Year 4 -521000(College+Hostel) Every year college fee increases
Life at SST is not as good as IITS or other big colleges but the clubs are very goods we have a competitive programming club whose president (a second year student) is often in the top 20 air of codeforces and codechef and 4 students were regionalist in ICPC Similarly we have Open Source club which is doing a good work and contributing in many events and projects like bhaashini project to convert the language of speaker to his selected language for user We have many clubs like Creator Club for Content Creation Media Club for Photography and editing Ted Talk Tribe for Book reading, newsletter and Talk sessions Sports Club for Sports activites Cultural Club for cultural activities Cyber Security and Networking club for Cyber security activities and computer networking
We have two vendors for students to choose Food Quality is overall decent not very good not very bad but some days in week its bad like mondays and all. Rooms and other facilities like fridge and induction are good.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
