- The college excels in its academics and placement.

Dislikes
- The campus doesn't have much space for recreation as its area is limited.
- The college doesn't have much fund to conduct events, thus making it difficult to host certain events.
Remarks :
The factor that made me choose this college was the excellence the college provides for its academics and placements. Admission to this college is purely based on Kerala Engineering entrance exam ranks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The total duration of the course is about 4 years i.e, 2 semesters per year. The reason I did choose this course is because of its vast chances in the field of medicine and research. The faculty in the department ranges from teachers having Phd in the respective fields. There are two internal exams before the semester exam. The difficulty level is medium as questions are from what the teachers teach.
Internships Opportunities :
No i haven't opted for any internships yet. I have done internships outside college found through various sources like LinkedIn etc. It consists of two months training program and one month internship with the company.
Placement Experience :
The college has an excellent record of placement over the years. The eligibility criteria varies for every company ( some keeping restrains based on the CGPA, while others not). Every year almost 80-90% of the students get placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fees I pay is about 40000 which is 20000 per semester. An additional amount of 3000 rs has to be paid along with the respective fees which includes the arts fees, sports fees, semester exam registration fees and maintenance fees. This fees is for students who are admitted under the merit category. Students who are admitted under the management category will have to pay a fees of about 80000 per yer. Students under the SC category need not pay fees. Scholarships are available based on the annual income of the parents.
Campus Life :
Government Model Engineering College provides an excellent campus life for its students. There are a lot of clubs active in the college which provides its students with the maximum exposure and experience. Every year the annual tech fest is hosted at the end of the year being December mostly.Arts and sports fest are conducted at the end of even semester every year.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
