- I like the atmosphere of the college and campus.
- The infrastructure of the campus is very attractive. The faculties are also cooperative.
Dislikes
- The complexities in finding out the sections of the college. No proper directions available
- Some of the seniors are not that cooperative ( for boys).
Remarks :
CUSAT is one of the top ranked colleges in India.(7th ranked university). And the placements, facilities are excellent as compared to other colleges. In order to get into college you need to write CAT exam. The people falling rank under 17k will have the eligibility to participate in CUSAT admissions. There were no group discussions or interviews.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Today in India, Electronics and Communications Engineering is having a great scope and the job opportunities are increasing per day. The Jobs are also stable as compared to other branches. The faculties of the CUSAT are really helpful if you are willing to hear them. The internal marks are really to be taken in consideration as the faculties are observing your each movement inside campus. The teaching methods of CUSAT is different as compared to other colleges. The internal exams are little bit difficult and the pass percentage is 50. So you really need dedication to success in exams.
Internships Opportunities :
Currentl I haven't opted for any internships, But there are lots of interships provided by seniors as well as private companies who were alumnae of cusat. One of them is Terrific Minds by Abhilash Jaypal.
Placement Experience :
The are several companies coming for recruiting students at CUSAT. Main MNC companies include Amazon, Wipro, Tata, BMW, Infosys, TCL, and so on. The highest package offered last year was 25 LPA and 40 LPA before last year. Almost 70-80 percent students get placed from the campus placement. Average package would be 6LPA. My plan is to get a Post Graduation.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are two types of seat 1) All India Merit 2)State merit. All india merit seat is having a cost of 55880/- per semester. State merit seat is having a cost of 35600/- per semester. For SC/ST category it cost only 2000 per semester. There are several scolarships for students who are economically backward. Most of the batchmates are having all India Merit.
Campus Life :
The campus life is very enjoyable and the campus is vast with 200 acres of land with lots of greeneries and even lots of pleasure spendable places. The infrastructure of Cusat is really exciting and they have arranged seperate sections for each departments. There are several events happening in a month itself including sports, arts club and so on. there are even sites for students to refer previous year questions.
Hostel Facilities :
Currently I haven't opted for any hostels as first year students dont have the opportunity to avail the government hostels. But still you have an option to have the mess as an outsider and the mess fee is really cheap and affordable. The food menu is like kerala cultural foods. There is even 'sadya' in weekends. The quality of food is good and it depends on each of the hostel.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty

Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
