The admission into this college is based on the marks obtained in the 10th standard. Based on our GPA and the type of school we studied are considered. It mainly takes admission for the students who come from a rural background.
The course curriculum was good. Our major faculty are from IITs and they have much knowledge about the subject. The end semester exams were based on application and somewhat hard .You have to study textbook for the proper preparation for the semester exams
It is mandatory to do internship in the third year of the engineering. We have to choose the internship and faculty also suggest us the various internships and we have to choose based on our intrest. Some people go for core and other for the IT sector internship.
There are placements for all the branches but comparing to the other branches CSE branch gets more companies. The salary package was also good. The highest package last year was 16lpa offered to the CSE students.
It is a 6 year integrated Btech program, here there is only admission fee of 10k and semester wise fee of 500 for the examination. And no other fee is collected for the entire education. So the entire course in this college is entirely free . No hostel or mes fee collected. Mess fee is deducted from our scholarship amount.
There were many clubs in our college. Code club, dance club, singing club, etc. The various clubs actively conduct programs regarding them. And the central library and digital library is present in our college. Digital library comprises of laptop with lane connection that helps students to learn new things without interruption of data connection. And central library comprises of textbooks regarding our courses. And sports competition branchwise or year wise .
The hostel rooms are allocated based on classwise and enrollment ID wise. And the mess is allocated somewhat distant from the hostel. The mess timetable was tiffin, lunch , snacks and dinner.A student must be present in the college and should be in the campus hostel only.
Many of our senior got placed and many of our seniors got the intership oportunitys also Highest package is 12 lpa and the lowest is 4 lpa My plans after completion of degree is not going to software side because I want to track a govt job
The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.
Placements and Internships The placement opportunities at my college are average, with a limited number of companies visiting the campus every year. Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills
I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities
One good thing is that placements aren't treated as something that only matters in the final year. From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.
Best part is the college doesn't wait until the final year to talk about careers. We get opportunities to work on projects, improve our coding, build resumes, and attend interview preparation sessions from the early semesters. Internship opportunities are shared regularly and the college guides students through the application process. This has helped me gain practical experience and understand what companies expect.
From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.
In our district kamala is the only college with highest placement records .many more MNC are visiting our college and student are getting placed in many companies with highest packages and currently they are leading good lifes
As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
Noo internships are available at our college.onlyy academic wise it is good Always asks to do certifications.crt helps us in the placements wise.for now we didn't placed in the college placements.eligibility is based on the company's visiting the campus.
