- The college new building is being constructed which has amazing infrastructure.
- The college has huge botanical garden which has more than 500 different plant species to study and research for ayurvedic purposes
Dislikes
- The college only encourages the good studying students for all the activities. The college judges a student based on marks. No club activities are performed much. Even the student council is selected by the management. There no single student club or a complaint booth. Or any student welfare board.
- The college do not focus on student mental health and stress management. No help is properly provided from the management for students mental health few few staff members like Dr Dhaneshwari, Dr Puneeth, Dr Saritha Dr Arun Kumar, Dr Tejaswi , Dr Geetesh very few staff members respond
Remarks :
This is of the top college in india asper lot of college website reviews because of the well functioning hospital and the oldest college. For direct management quota you have to submit a application attaching your 12th score neet score kcet score and write the reason for choosing this college and submit your application. Base of the neet and 12th score you'll be called for an off line interview round in sdm ayurvedic medical college hassan and they will select you based on the interview. You just have to revise the 11th and 12th biology syllabus and a little bit more general knowledge on medical field for the interview round. The good aspects of the college are it had a excellent staff who are gold medalists in ug and pg well functioning hospital with lot of in patients to learn and the bad aspect is no much co curricular activities are encouraged apart from subject related and average studying students are not encouraged
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course offers a wide range of jobs to take up after completion. You can be respected as a doctor. The qualification of the faculty are they should do a pg further in any one subject to become the teaching staff in the college every subject had a minimum of 3 to 6 teaching staff and each department has a hod who qualifications can be of PhD. The teaching method includes usage of ppt and hospital practical teaching lab teaching research teaching. They will conduct 5 exams every year of which are 2 until test conducted for every 1.5 to 2 months once 1 midterm 1 preparatory and 1 yearly exam which you write in university level of rguhs. The exams are moderately difficult
Internships Opportunities :
The colleges hospital offers a internship program of 365 days. It is a mandatory internship which gives a license to practice. You need to clear 4.5 years of bams course to join this internship. The stipend proved for ugs during internship is 2000 rupees
Placement Experience :
No campus placement is offered here. Only internship is offered. You can do pg after completing of bams write groups, do MBA and few other diploma courses. If not you can start your own practice as a physician after bams. The average salary after just bams is 30000 to 40000
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My fees is under management quota which is 700000 per year which includes all the tution fees cation fees lab fees registration fees admission fees developmental fees and other maintenance fees like bus fees curricular activity fees etc other few management fees structure are 250000 and 500000. Apart from that there are few students who took a seat through kcet and neet where the fees varies from 50000 to 250000. Students can apply for sc st and obc categories when taking a seat through kcet and neet. There are 5% nri seats which are converted to management seats in the end the fees structure of nri seats are 700000 per year. This college charges one of the highest management seat cost
Campus Life :
The campus has a library and a digital library which is open until 9pm from monday to Saturday which has all kinds of journals publications phd works research papers related to ayurveda and any additional suggestions can be given and they'll get the books. The class room has projector for digital learning and seminars. The college conducts 6 outdoor sports for men and 4 for women and 3 indoor sports and few other extra curricular activities and competitions. There are social services groups like nss, red cross, rotract, and in year 2024 inter college clubs like dancing singing photography etc. No websites and social media platforms are allowed to run by students. The management only selects the student council so no elections as such are conducted here and no club activities take place much so overall if your focusing only on academics it's a good college but for social activities it's not
Hostel Facilities :
Yes there are hostels for both men and women. The men hostel had low capacity compared to women hostel. In men hostel there are only 3 sharing rooms with attached washrooms. In women hostel there are 3 sharing 2 sharing 1 sharing room with common washrooms with 24/7 hot water facility. The hostel has a hostel mess which serves 4 meals which include breakfast lunch dinner and evening snacks. Only vegetarian food is served. Food quality is not bad but variation in menu is very limited. For noth indians its very difficult because only local food is served. You need to apply for the hostel during the admission process. There are lot of apartments and rent house options around the college with rent of 7 to 10k per person for a month

The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
