- College area is around 10 acres, it is no so big, we have two main buildings where one is for engineering and other is for school of science and school of business, Faculties are good everyone have done their PhD
Dislikes
- There are not much activities in the college, and college is not in Bengaluru urban, it's in Bengaluru rural, doddaballapura, so there is no much outside activities to do, Faculties are too good with their teachings, they have 20-25 yrs of experience in teaching.
Remarks :
There were no Group discussion or interview round, they just asked basic questions 10th,12th percentage and what do your parents do, and they started with the admission procedure, if you need scholarship then you nee dto write GAT test .
Course Curriculum Overview :
There were no much difference in the Btech and BCA course curriculum in GITAM UNIVERSITY, and I wasn't willing to join engineering, so bca was best for me with the same syllabus which batch cs had. Exams we have 3 internals for 30 marks each, 20 marks quizzes and assignment viva etcc..
Internships Opportunities :
We didn't get any internship opportunity from the University, we need to find it outside, and even if we get we need to do it in Holiday time, because in normal college timings we will be having internals which we will miss and again we can't attempt it.
Placement Experience :
Minimum 60% needed in all 10th,12th and degree, and no backlogs, some companies may accept 1 backlog, then you'll be eligible for placements, some companies may ask even 70% in all three Average package is 4lpa Highest is 8lpa Lowest is 3.2 lpa Almost everyone who opted for placements, everyone got placed, but in 2024 we had IT recession so we didn't get much core companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For the first year we paid 60000, so fo total 3 years in paid 1.8lakh I joined through management quota, two of my friends got scholarship through GAT(gitam admission test) exam, they only paid hostel fees.
Campus Life :
Before corona there were many fests, but after corona period the fests and events came down, even now they conduct multiple fests and events in university, Coming to sports every yr they conduct cricket matches, and intra football matches.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is good, rooma and bit small, they have two types of rooms, AC and Non-AC, fees is around 1-1.5 lakh per yr excluding mess fees, for mess you need to pay 4.5k per month, quality of food is above average, some may like and some may not, there is seperate food counter for foreigners also You'll get 8-10 PG's near University, 7k/month including food.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
