Likes
- The main thing I like about the college is the infrastructure and the surroundings. There is a big tree in the college and the faculty is also good. Campus Life is good . There is no ragging in the college , if anyone gets caught doing ragging then he will be suspended from the college.
- I like the sports room and library in the college .
Remarks :
A previous student from this college suggested me to go to this college and I directly came to admission with my parents. We can also apply get seat in this college by applying DOST website. There are tests for admission. Admission process is simple and easy.
Course Curriculum Overview :
To be honest , I came here to chose B.COM (COMPUTERS ) but the faculty here suggested me to take B.COM(BUSINESS ANALYTICS) as it is a new course and also demanding one in the field. The teaching method is good overall and the exams here are conducted as semester wise. Two semesters per one year and there will be two internals exams per semester.
Internships Opportunities :
There is no internship in the college but there are some group projects alloted to the students in the final year. In a class of total 60 students , the project is divided into every group of 5 or 6 students with a different topic provided to each. We have submitted a project based on Ducati company and its history .
Placement Experience :
When I took admission the faculty said that there will be placements conducted in the college and 25 companies will come for the drive . But now my graduation is completed but there was no recruitment drive and no placements alloted. Placements were there before but for our batch placements are not offered.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for students is based upon the percentage or marks they get in the 12th standard. The faculty check the previous marks and select the fee for everyone. The average fee for a bcom student is 35000 . For me I got 80% in my 12th so my fee per year is 34000 and admission fee is additional which is 5000 and we get scholarship from the government which is of 25000 , so students need to pay only rest 8000 to the college .
Campus Life :
Campus Life in my college is very good . There is a Library available for the students to get more information about the course which they are studying and there is a sports room which consists of table tennis , carrom board etc indoor sports . They conduct many events like annual day , farewell day , and sports day . There is also a NCC camp in there.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel available in the college . If you want to live in hostel then you can choose seperate hostels which are run by other people near by the locality. But we have canteen in the college which is good . We can get all bakery items and chips,cold drinks etc in the canteen which is good.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.
College life beyond classroom

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

My experience at NIAT
Placement Experience :
NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.

Placement Experience :
Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
