Remarks :

Admission is made purely through JEE scores or SAT scores for NRIs. Your branch is decided on JEE , like above 96 percentile can get CSE , above 90 for AI and etc. There is a normal interview taken , this does not affect your admission. Good aspects is it's a very good environment. Hostels are well maintained and the mess food if one of the best, if not the best mess food in whole of Hyderabad. Regularly they keep eggs and 2 times Non veg every week. Campus is good and classrooms are well equipped. Everything is good , labs are also very good. Bad thing is placements are not upto mark and there is no extra effort from management regarding placements.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculties are top notch. We have faculty from IIT and IIITs. We have professors with Experince from unicorn companies, Intel , Google, also the founding member of Bell Labs teaches here. There is absolute quality in teachers and what they teach. But it's upto the students how he utilises it. Course work can get very heavy for the first 2 years , too much assignments and exams. There's no choice of subjects until 3rd year 2nd sem. Exams are simple if you listen to classes. It's easy to get 7 CGPA and above. Course curriculm is also upto the mark, it's what the students needs.

Internships Opportunities :

Not got internship till now. We get ppo offers from many companies every day , offering stipend ranging from 15k per month to 30k per month which will then be converted to full time roles. I am still trying to get an internship.

Placement Experience :

There's good companies coming on campus but at the end of the day it depends upon the student and his cgpa on how he can utilise those placements. We have companies like oracle and accenture offering 35 lakh etc. There's a wide variety of roles being hired from SDE to Web developers , AI engineers. Campus placements are really good if you can utilise the opportunities and ace the tests. For placements , you have to have above 7 cgpa to be eligible to apply. Highest package every year is 35 lakhs and average package is 10 lakhs. Nearly 40 percent of the students get placed by the end of 4th year. Other students usually go for MS. My plan is to get a placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

6.5 lakh per year is the fee for hostelers. 4.5 lakh is the tuition fee and 2 lakhs is the hostel fee(includes everything such as mess fee and everything). 20k is the caution deposit to be made starting of the year. Top 10 students per branch get 1 lakh scholarship per academic year. Admission or application fee is 2000 rupees.

Campus Life :

There's 1 major event per sem, Tarang and Aether. This is the event where basically we get artist to perform, student activities and clubs. Clubs are good. There's 1 activity per club every month and it's very engaging. From music , film , dance , space , math , computer club , There's nearly 30 clubs and student chapters on campus. Library is well equipped with needed books. Sports are also very very active. There's nearly two or three teams per sport that represent the campus for inter college events. There is a major event Airo where other colleges come to our campus for a sports fest. Every team gear up for this event. Most clubs are run by students themselves only.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are very clean , 2 people sharing per room which has an AC. Rooms are cleaned twice a week , Monday and Thursday. There's nearly 80 rooms per floor and a huge building. Girls hostel rooms are normally bigger in size than the boys hostel rooms. There are 2 messes , girls mess where only girls are allowed and Mixed mess where both boys and girls eat. Mixed one is a larger one with 2 floors. Food here is really good. We get Rotis everyday. Every day there are 2 different curries , Dal/Sambar and rasam , one type of sweet , salad , and curd for anyone who wants it. As mentioned earlier in the review , mess is one of the best in hyderabad. Well functioning lifts inside the hostels for those living in upper floors. Well ventilated , well mainted bathrooms which are cleaned everyday.

A glimpse of MRUH

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.

Not so great

Placement Experience :

Placements and Internships The placement opportunities at my college are average, with a limited number of companies visiting the campus every year. Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

Where learning meets industry

Placement Experience :

One good thing is that placements aren't treated as something that only matters in the final year. From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

A satisfying learning journey

Placement Experience :

Best part is the college doesn't wait until the final year to talk about careers. We get opportunities to work on projects, improve our coding, build resumes, and attend interview preparation sessions from the early semesters. Internship opportunities are shared regularly and the college guides students through the application process. This has helped me gain practical experience and understand what companies expect.

Learning, growth and great memories

Placement Experience :

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT

Placement Experience :

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

College life beyond classroom

Placement Experience :

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

A great place to meet like minded people

Course Curriculum Overview :

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
