- The campus is small compared to other colleges.
- Faculties are okay , the only problem is they keep on reading the PPT.

- College is located in the outskirts of the city
- Old traditional way of teaching. No practical hands on experience
Remarks :
The college has good placement record and among the best colleges in mangalore it was the best one. I went through CET so no written tests or interviews were done. College has above average infrastructure ( not so good I would say) . If any people are serious about sports, this college is not for you.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose CSE mainly because of placements. The faculty here are well qualified and the syllabus is still outdated. There were three internals and one externals (lab + theory) in every semester. Core Engineering skills are yet to be taught in every colleges
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't applied for any internship in the college. I got placed in a company in the campus placements and I got internship in the same company. College won't teach you the current trending tech stack. Tech market is on the one end and college syllabus is on the other end
Placement Experience :
Placements are normal in this college with service based companies coming more. Around 90-100 companies visit here throughout the year. The companies like Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini MindTree visits the campus. The average package is around 4LPA.Highest package in 2024 was 14LPAN(due to recession). Around 35-40% of students got placed
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The students who has gone through KCET should pay 66K and college fees of 22K (these figures are of 2020) now the government fees and college fees are increased. Including both it may cost 120K -140K per year in 2024( without college hostel / bus facility/ placement training facility) . Scholarships are available (Central and State scholarships).
Campus Life :
The cultural fests are not that frequent. In total there may be around 6-7 fests in the whole year. The technical fests are frequent in this college. There are startups in the college campus itself. There are clubs who work on interesting projects. Campus life is bit boring here.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is good and i spent four years in the college hostel. I didn't find ragging in this hostel. The security is good. Coming food, it might taste good for few weeks then it becomes boring. The hostel is bit expensive I would say. Even three sharing rooms costs around 90K (including foods). The only bad thing is year ends in 9-10 months and we end up paying around 10K per month.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
