- In terms of faculty we have the best in class which helps us to learn theost about patients and help us to be good doctors ahead in our lives
- In terms of campus life you do have a great one mainly by living in hostel as we play many games and have lots of fun so as in college during fest and events as me being a key member in culturals club I say we do have a great college life
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is quite old as it is one of the oldest medical colleges in india so it is something to be looked for but in near future new hostel is being made and lot of developmental activities are going on
- In terms of campus we have a small area without any ground due to college being in the centre of city just besinde railway station so extension of campus is not possible making it difficult
Remarks :
Guntur medical College is one of the oldest medical Colleges in whole india and has a great legacy of brilliant doctors,with its super speciality hospital being one of the best I. The state and large patient input we get a lot of clinical exposure. Though the campus is quite old it's got a great feel and new buildings are being built for the future in order to renovate the campus. To get a seat in in you must clear an all India exam called NEET -UG and get a good rank in order to get a seat in it. An AIT rank of 20k is must for a general state quota to get an admission into this college anduch low to get through all India quota
Course Curriculum Overview :
Being a doctor was my dream since I was 10 and getting an admission into this college made me closer to my dream. The teachers in the college are one of the best in the field, since it is a very famous and old college many reputed professors teach in the college and professors of clinical branches are the best in class to help you get great clinical exposure
Internships Opportunities :
Every medical student does an internship of 1 year in their respective college and the salary as of now is 25000/month which covers all the departments to get an overall experience for the student to pursue any further in that selected field
Placement Experience :
Since this is a medical College everyone does post graduation after completing their degree which is done by writing an exam called NEET PG maybe converted to NEXT in coming years in order to pursue speciality in a course like MD or MS
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tution fee as of now is 15000 per year for all the students of every year whereas it used to be 10,000 in my first year of college. The fee doesn't include examination fee for the yearly university exams which is to be paid later during the time of exams and which will be around 3500 rs per year and a hostel fee of 40 thousand for the whole degree is to be paid in which 7000 is the caution deposit which is non refundable in case you want to leave the hostel.
Campus Life :
A fest was conducted in September of 2023 due to some causes it was not happened this year but it is a great fest when It happened the last year. Library is a big one and you can get all the required books and journals for you to study. It is an air conditioned library with proper resources so no issue in there. In case of sports our college is not that great as it does not have a dedicated ground to play due to presence of college in the centre of city and construction of new hostels in men's hostel ground but we do have sports and participate every year in intermedics held throughout the state held by university. And different clubs are there in college like music, media , arts , culturals, sports, etc,.
Hostel Facilities :
I am currently in men's hostel. The hostel is quite old as it is built in 1964 , its infrastructure is quite not great and the mess food is good , the hostel is quite affordable as it is 40k for the whole degree with a security deposit of 7k so making it very much affordable for everyone and a new hostel is being built which when done will be the best hostel in the whole south india

Placement Experience :
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
